Di Marzio is quite credible but not always with PL news or MUFC specifically. With Italian players and managers or those playing / managing in Serie A in general much more credible. Not sure why an Italian outlet would be the one breaking this / getting early info. Romano has well eclipsed Di Marzio and seems to have a credible network of information all over the world , so big difference if Romano was reporting it for example imo. I had big hopes for Ten Hag. I don't think he set the place on fire. Mediocre results, average signings and horrible losses to weaker teams. Haphazard preparations for games with no tactics at all. We need a new stadium, we need a good team spirit. We also need less Glazer influence. The ashworth case is pretty cut and clear; ashworth slipped up and revealed his communication with Manure while working for NUFC, him revealing his contract and details surrounding NUFC`s compansation to brighton would obviously gives NUFC the right to remove him from their systems so he cant see what NUFC are working on while he is on gardening leave when its clear Ashworth is going to a rival. Its pretty obvious why NUFC wont give an inch when it comes to Ashworth, if Manure wont pay then NUFC can put a stick in the spokes of a rival and have Ashworth on gardening leave until 2025. NUFC with their current owners aint a club you can force to do anything without a fight, they can write off Ashworths wage easily and see it as a worthy loss to keep a rival from getting their way and improve their backroom staff.

Objectively speaking, Grealish and Maddison may not have had a brilliant season but they have not had a season like Rashford. If Southgate had picked Rashford over anybody else, he would have been sacked on the spot, that is how bad Rashford has been. Terrible. Regarding project managers, well, who better than EtH? Out of all the project managers mentioned, he is by far the most accomplished with everything he has done at Ajax. One could claim that what he did at Ajax was a given but look at what has happened to them since he left? De Zerbi, Potter, McKenna and possibly Poch as project managers, none of them have had any significant success, not compared to EtH. I know we should not judge INEOS until 3 years of running the club but sacking EtH now does not bode well for further decisions coming from them down the line.

Ashworth is under contract to Newcastle until 2025 and shouldn't have been talking to any other potential employers. Simple as that .He agreed to such when he signed and accepted higher wages as compensation. Man Utd should have approached Newcastle before they did Ashworth. That is the rule.
