A suspect has been located and is in now police custody. One person has been pronounced deceased at the scene and two others have been transported to hospital.

Yeah, unfortunately, corporations like Timmies love to cut costs wherever they can. You can invest more money into CCTV to get better quality. Higher quality cameras, assuming you get them from a renowned security company, require more maintenance and higher costs that a lot of businesses often opt out of. Don't get me wrong - I actually am willing to invest that type of money (and I've done it on my own property), but larger companies love to save on costs. Also, the telescopes you're talking about are really expensive. You'd be surprised.

Hamilton was flooded with cops not long ago on York Blvd, maybe an hr ago now. My son and I were driving on York and stopped because cops were flying around all over. While stopped on the side of the road we heard what sounded like a bunch of gun shots, 8-10, coming from the cemetery. Cops were driving like ive never seen them drive before.

Technically, we already have no cash bail in Canada. Even if it is apart of the release conditions, it is only ever a 'promise to pay it' if they breach their conditions. And, when they do breach those conditions, it is rarely, if ever, enforced. As in, the offender is never out of pocket.

It was the fastest way to get the basic information out. They used a phone camera, took a picture of the monitor of the surveillance system. Instead of waiting for tech officers to retrieve the video, before they could get a proper frame capture.
