@@devdev11999 I think it is slightly different in Gus's case. Gus mostly relied on his strategic mind most of the time, and once he tried to be emotional, it literally blew on his face. I am sure if it had been another one of his enemies, he wouldn't have made an effort to kill him himself. Besides he also couldn't have foreseen that such alliance was a possibility. He knew Walter was dangerous, but he didn't think he would have done that. So I guess, in a way, I agree with you.

One thing Walt and Hank have in common is that, for all their knowledge and skills, they're both at their heart dorks who got into their professions because they wanted to act out an archetype, just on opposite sides of the law. That line sounds like it comes straight out of an old film, just like, "I am the danger" and, "Say my name" would sound incredibly cheesy if you tried to use them on your fellow criminals in real life.
