I think my favorite thing honestly about the football convo between Saul and the guard is that it’s actually historically accurate. Everything they talked about actually happened in that 2010 season. “Martinez” is obviously a reference to QB Taylor Martinez, talking about the move to the Big Ten the next season, the renovation of Memorial Stadium, Bo Pelini, and I’m pretty sure they mentioned the Texas game for that season? Vince and Peter really dug deep to make sure the writing in this show was that perfect. They really are some of the greats.

Wasn't buying the Saul bit though, it's obvious he's looking at the screens and trying to distract, so felt a bit Scooby Doo and silly for me. Though, as a whole, the whole scene still works. I don't think he was being sincere at all with the "my brother...is dead" bit either, it's still an act at this point. Jimmy really was buried by Saul right up until the very end.
