Three things: - Shinobi does in fact mean Ninja. It's mostly used to reference Naruto, which a lot of rappers watched. - It didn't say Marmite but it said Maritime (which is used to describe something at sea). That line wasn't translated right, as sale means "dirty" and not "dirt." Basically saying the maritime is dirty, and the sea is fucked (which brings us to the topic of pollution). But the second line about the sea being fucked has a double meaning because in French, sea is spelled "mer" which can be pronounced the same way as mother which is spelled "mère." The sea is fucked and dirtied by man, and the mother is also fucked and dirtied by man. - Jesus lived in Israel so he was very probably Middle-Eastern. P.S: Orelsan has a feat with YBN Cordae called "Tout Ce Que Je Sais" if you think that's worth checking out, there are also lots of other Orelsan songs that are really good, but I think people are already spamming the comments with those.

A good thing to note is that when Damnso says "nwaar" it mean, black and dope. In french when thing are dope we say "lourd" which means heavy. Damso who is a rapper from Brussels (where they are two main spoken languages french and dutch) uses his "catch phrase" "nwaar" that comes from "zwaar" that means heavy in dutch but also "noir" in french were it mean black. So when he says "San est nwaar" it's a compliment

Ses premiers albums contiennent beaucoup plus de classiques. Raelsan, Suicide Social, Ils sont Cools, Jimmy Punchline, Courez Courez, Différent, Perdu d'avance, La Petite Marchande de porte-clefs, Elle viendra quand même (on en parle pas assez mais elle est excellente), et je vais pas m'étaler sur les Casseurs Flowteurs sinon j'y suis encore demain. Ce serait dommage de ne lui faire découvrir que des sons qui sont quand même beaucoup moins marquants que ceux que j'ai cités (ses deux premiers albums ont presque que des classiques de toute façon). Et le solo de guitare épique de Ron Thal sur Peur de l'Échec vaut le détour aussi. L'autotune a mal vieilli mais le son est lourd aussi.
