One of the best to ever do it while playing the most difficult & heavily scrutinized role on the team, period. But what impresses me the most about Tommy is his mental fortitude. I can't imagine what it feels like to not be able to do what I love doing because of an injury. This man went through that twice, and came back even stronger both times. Instead of moping & feeling sorry for himself, he turned that stream on & kept the scene alive during a difficult time for COD. He wasn't the hero we deserved, but the hero we needed 💚🤍❤

@boblawblaw6185 Жыл бұрын
i always been an optic guy since MW2 2009, but I always like zooma as a personality. I found him more from gta rp than cod though. I also just want to point out the difference between these OGs like scump, Teep Zooma, Censor all these guys that really played COD as pro's in the game's Hayday, they were all dudes that played some kind of sport in school before cod, or they came from a parent that was a pro athlete, and that's really what drove the pro scene. you had a bunch of guys in their teens and 20s who were actually athletes and they had an athletes mind set , now we fast forward to the CDL in its twilight and just look at all the pro players. just all of them , every single one looks soft, unathletic, overweight, some underweight, look like sticks. They don't look like they could be athletes they don't look like they could do anything else but sit on the couch and play COD. at the same time the CDL is trying to make itself LOOK , like a professional sports league. Its trying to bring NFL or NBA vibes to Call of duty and that's really what didn't mesh. The players do NOT have the personalities really of athletes and they certainly don't look like it, which is what made MLG COD and Cod world league blow up, every player at that level really had an athletes' mindeset. They already came from an environment for years where they went to practice . they ate slept breathed whatever they were doing and they sold it to the crowd. The players today can't sell it. I was watching the promos at the most recent CDL opening stream for my free in game items. Most of the shit was cringe. the promos looked like a highschool AV team penned the scripts but had a 500k budget to waste on camera tech and FX. If COD really want people to get hyped for it the way people get hyped for league they need to go back to its roots, very open events where team/org registration is very accesable and they need players with personalities, they need actual athletes. they all don't have to be soccer players and baseball players, they can be chess champions as long as they have some swag to them and they know how to talk shit between the competitions. That will make people tune in for the actual game, not the free COD toys. Also Cod really gotta move away from controller for their big streaming events. What they need is players from other games to watch them and be interested in the game. None of the players from other games like CS Valo or league respect an FPS shooter where its main format is played on controller with aim assist. those kinds of viewers are familiar with the mechanical prowess that comes with a MnK and no aim assist, and that's what people want to see. People want to see aim bot like flicks and snaps without actually a controller doing part of the work. If COD don't change that it will never get respected as a competitive game. In terms of game pacing and being a spectator game, COD really should have over taken CS a long time ago as the go to FPS esport, but because they want to keep sticking with aim assist and controller CS stayed on top as a much older game and longer established e sport. I also think what Activision is doing to the flank is wrong, its a step backwards and the flank is more in alignment when the stuff i was just elaborating on how to bring COD back into esports scene in a big way. anyway that's an internet "old" dudes 2 cents.
