Like the panel mentioned I think they have to do something that relates to the virus and Neuman's ability to control blood. Like maybe she gets infected but then is able to control it and actually infect other supes or something and ultimately ends up dead trying to do something with it, like kill Homelander. Honestly I love the fact that at this point I have no idea and really anything could happen

I think Ryan dies, maybe homelander, and next season is about stopping Butcher from unleashing the global pandemic. As for who Sage meant that homelander cannot beat, it could be soldier boy or Neuman. Hughies talk with Neuman might have given her a change of heart. Also, the GenV character that controls minds could be used against homelander.

The shapeshifter is gonna murder the president and directly frame Starlight. Victoria is gonna become new president with Sage & Stan Edgar as advisors. The parasite is gonna hijack Butcher's body and depower both Ryan and Homelander with the virus.

I think Sage will have her "It was Agatha All Along" moment during the season finale. Sage this entire season has been playing extreme chess and whatever her ultimate goal is, might have something to do with the virus. Also, I'm hoping we get to see her fight or showcase some power we didn't know she had. As for characters dying during the final, I have no clue who it could/will be. But, I honestly don't see Neuman being the one that get killed off. I feel like we haven't fully seen all of her powers. As far as we know, she's a blood bender like Marie, her body is possibly impenetrable, and she can smell v in people's blood stream.

Sage is 10 steps ahead. And is actually a hero not a villain. She is destroying the 7 from within. She has deep and Noir p-whipped. She is poisoning Firecracker (which I think her heart will be exploded by Neuman or maybe Marie) Sage protected A train. I wonder if she had a relative on the plane that homelander shot down. And the person homelander fears is either Butcher/Kessler or Soldier Boy. It has to be someone who csn become a villain if homelander is killed

As of this last episode, the 7 consists of homelander, a guy who can talk to fish, a guy who would rather be pursuing his acting career, and firecracker. GenV members might be filling in, but while the others are loyal to Vought mostly out of fear of homelander, the GenV'ers were taught to compete for the main spotlight against other supes. They may see homelander as just another challenge.

Well in the episode MM says something like “we don’t know what will kill him (the deep) but we know black noir could kill us so we better get outta here” Black noir just got shot out the building (stunned but not dead) and he’s implying they aren’t able to kill the deep fast enough before he recovers and kills them.

If you think about it.. Mave fought Homelander one on one, and held her own more than basically Butcher, Solider Boy and Huey on temp V combined. The 3 of them together really couldn't subdue him enough or long enough for Solider Boy to nuke him

Plus that whole “ear stab” thing makes zero sense. You can’t penetrate any part of him with common objects. It’s like the rock trying to jam a straw of hay into your ear. The hay isn’t going to do jack other than crumble between his hand and your ear. Which also makes me wonder how they plan on injecting Victoria or Homelander with any virus. They can take bullets point blank to the head but a needle is going to work? Cmon now…

She met the shooter purposely knowing she was under surveillance. She knew they'd track him/her to the apartment to find the assassination plans. And she set up Starlight to get kidnapped and replaced by the shapeshifter. And I think Maeve is too easy of an answer as to the one person that Homelander can't defeat. I think it'll be Ryan, since he loves his son too much to defeat him one on one.

Am i the only one who thought the 1 person Homelander can't defeat isn't Ryan, and it isn't himself, it's Soldier Boy. Soldier Boy theoretically is the most powerful Supe. He can go toe to toe with homelander on the physical side but his ability to literally burn the compound V out of a person with essentially a nuclear blast means homelander has a huge weakness to him.

1)I think homelander crushed a guy's head when he was in the alley with Stormfront. 2) Since Sage is the smartest person she would know that the octopus would be able to smell/sense her (Sage) on the Deep. So I think she wanted the Deep to kill the octopus. 3) The most super in this episode was A-Train 👏

My theory is the virus will cure Butcher by attacking the super powered tumor and leaving him unharmed. But as a result of Butcher getting infected he will accidentally infect someone else, most likely Ryan but Starlight is also a possibility.

Am I misremembering something: Doesn't everyone think Maeve is dead? I thought the only ones who knew she was still alive was Annie and Ashley. I assumed the person Sage was referring to was Ryan. I can see it being Homelander himself. I don't think it's Butcher because he's dying already. I don't see it being Neuman either because it would take her a significant amount to pop Homelander's head.

Pretty sure Queen Mauve's been meeting with Sage in the background all this time. The cover of her notebook is Queen Mauve. May be a big part of her plan. Are we even sure Homelander got to her first? What if Mauve had the same idea earlier in the season? I think the two of them + victoria are all three in on the girl power thing, and I believe that they are the ones who kidnapped starlight so they can bring her in on their plan now.

Also they might have to use the virus to kill an out-of-control Butcher; tumor takes over in a hail marry situation to stop butcher from using it on somebody else, Butcher gives himself the shot before he loses control completely, Hughey's trying to talk him out of it we can still fix this etc. (Also might be a fake-out, it just kills the tumor, hurray etc.) Yeah this being what happens to the virus sounds right. It resets Butcher to a healthy level for a final showdown in season 5, but also gives a real suspenseful moment where we think he's died for real. Too good not to do but we'll see.

Also I think the undersea creatures turn on The Deep when they hear what happened through the grapevine. All those fish in the bowl above the bed saw / heard everything and he's gonna take em back to the ocean like he always does to give em a break from captivity. Those fish are gonna snitch on The Deep.

Gina is the most correct because she watched Supernatural and knows how Kripke likes to write and structure his shows. Big emotional beats are connected to outward actions and obstacles through metaphor. Starlight v. Starlight is going to happen, and nice call Jay on what the shifter is going to say to Starlight. Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles, Dean on Supernatural) will come back and Kripke has already said he's hoping to get Jared Padalecki (Sam on Supernatural) back as at least a bit part - he is totally going to write an onscreen reunion of the two of them somehow in the next season. My prediction? Sage is going to flip sides to support the Boys because she knows that Homelander is never going to defeat his own ego (the one person he can't overcome. Ryan/Soldier Boy is an extension of that ego because he is his son/father). She said something to the effect of "the only way to take down a system is with their hand in their pocket and a knife at their throat" to Neuman when they were at Tek Night's party for billionaires. That is how next season is going to play out in it's endgame.

I think based on trailer footage I’m assuming the scene toward the end of the trailer with starlight and Hughie holding passports and hugging Kimiko and I assume MM, they’re safe. Butcher is going off the grid, Starlight and Hughie are going into hiding like the comics, I think Frenchie is likely to die, I think A-Train is another possibility in a final fight and Neuman of course. I’m hoping for some really incredible action scenes. I feel like the budget is waiting for the finale.

1000% we are still seeing Sage's plan play out the way she wanted it to. I don't recall a single thing that's happened this season that's noticably taken her by surprise or caught her off guard. I think she's looked at all 14 million outcomes and taken each into account.

But isn't Vicky's body impenetrable? Remember in the 1st episode when both Hughie and Butcher tried to attack her with the acid and bullet, she was unfazed. Unless, she touches someone with it or if they make it in as gas form.

I guess the one person who Homelander never can beat is the breastmilk addicted himself. We have seen last week how fast Firecracker got control over him. Even if it's only temporary, it gives lots of opportunities to take him down.

There's no debate, in the comic Homelander was ended by his clone...clearly Sage knows what we know, that Homelander is unbalanced, and he will destroy himself. He comes so close to losing it so many times in this series, he is a shaken soda bottle, dude is gonna crash out hard and break the world....
