My concern relative any relationship between China and France is that China will forget the past behavior of Europeans-they cannot be trusted. Will China allow Western Europeans into BRICS? I think this would be a grave mistake knowing their past and present behavior-Russia being the exception. I am certain that this was a discussion that Xi and Macron had. Will China choose to align itself with Europeans against Africa? This is a fair question seeing how Africa has been betrayed time and time again by supposed allies. My take on the Xi visit. Serbia and Hungary are the 'canary in the bird cage of a darkened mine' to see if there is any danger China is using both as pioneers to show China can and is willing to work with European countries. Serbia has shown China's success in reviving a bankrupt steel mill and constructing both highway and high speed rails between Serbia and Hungary. Hungary is the base for both BYD to build NEV in Europe and Huawei's main European logistic and manufacturing center for its telecom gear. France is the big test case and Xi gave Macron a big Airbus order when Macron visited Xi in China last year. This year Huawei is building a research and manufacturing hub for Europe in France. Obviously Macron wants more investments in France by China and increased trade to revive its moribund economy.. France could also find another source of refined uranium that it sorely needs for its nuclear power fleet and could find a joint venture in the thorium fuel cycle in its next generation of nuclear power to which China leads the development of molten salt reactors.

I've yet to hear him speak on the matters in my original post, and I feel like a lot of Americans would benefit from his insights on them, whatever they might be. I have found analyses from people like Andy Boreham, Daniel Dumbrill, and Max Blumenthal regarding the lies of the US about China to be very helpful in shaping my opinions on China. I keep hearing about the matters in my original post as well as the Tiananmen Square Massacre and the Wuhan Lab leak being brought up to criticise a country that I see more and more as being much better than the US, and I am curious to know if knowledgeable people like KJ Noh could speak on such matters to correct any misconceptions Americans, like myself, might have. He and CGTN have helped me understand the problems with the South China Sea disputes and the UNCLOS ruling and how China's position on such is historically informed and compliant with actual/binding, relevant rules. Even recently, seeing China's correctness in the interaction between a Chinese jet and an Australian helicopter was reassuring to me as the notion I've grown to see over and over again that the US and West in general are the greatest instigators and aggressors in the world was proven again, to be true.
