i went on this ride,and when it first started all i thought was it was going to break down,i absolutley loved the ride soo much!but i just had a feeling that something wasnt right,the next day when we went to go on it,it was closed becauuse ride did break down,but it absolutley loved this ride so much,best ride ever!

The ride does not operate unless all bars are secured as there are lights on the backs of the seats if there not out the ride shouldnt start. In the papers I hear it was a lady who ran in the box and pressed the emergency stop button as she throught her daughters bar was unlocked is this true as really cant see this

Don't worry people this problem has been fixed and it rarely happens the only thing that has been changed is the height of wipe out due to it was going too high which it is not made for

no an engineer pressed the stop button as the operator of the machine was not around,for whatever reason the the guard was not locked tight enough around her which she only noticed once going up in the air.it was a non family member who noticed her screaming and it was this person who demanded the ride be stopped rsther then let the girl go up and over 130 ft 60mph a very split second decision that my family are more then grateful for,they are also cousins so he was terrified of losing her grip

The ride was still safe to operate tho long as the bar lights are off then thats it. The opperater should of checked that the bar was shut on her tight so no ones fault realy the ride was safe to go thats it. Its things like this that give rides a bad name when there was nothing wrong with the ride at all.

My mate can just fit on this ride if the bar dont shut the ride does not move at all simple as. See it all the time where parents go mad thinking there kids are falling out when there screaming casue they hate it or they like it. Waste of police and the fire brigades time really.

I went on this! it was really fun,I went on it once with another girl about the same age,then some middle aged foreign dude,who was really creepy,he threw up next to me..........It was gross,and the worst thing.......the ride supervisor didn't even clean it up so some lady had to sit next to fresh puke......poor lady.

im sorry but was you there that day, because this disaster never happened that way and for the record they were teenagers not frightened little kids who had been on the ride several times building up to that day.in fact over a few years as it was our 4th time in brean sands haven.also if there is another safety guard as previously added thats fine but would you take the risk of letting your family go up 130 ft at 60mph we didnt want to chance it

i have been to brean before, and i have been on this ride. it is a good ride but i was unaware this happened. i was on it last april. i also spotted a UFO in this same are in 2008 on the same holiday park. go to my vodeos and you will see it called " UFO spotted in brean somerset"

just read this....when we was there we see a massive ufo above us,but no one said a word,very surreal,it was as if time stood still for a moment,it looked like a massive petrol station,or shopping mall of some sort above us,and then it was gone and no one seemed to talk about it

New update to this post,not the xtremes fault but the person operating it,which makes perfect sense as he wasnt even there to stop the ride...,probably ran off to take cover from the thunderstorm that had came out of nowhere,dont know why we never thought of this at the time,oh I know, too busy being grateful they were ok.so this kind of makes all your shitty comments void now as it was not the xtremes fault,so yes! granted ....but the mong person who was operating it that day

ROFL, I've been on this ride so many times....i hate it when they don't put 4 people on each side because you're left hanging.....i got back from brean today, was on that ride 2 days ago....and the guy that was opperating the ride put me with 3 other people as a 4 person test....luckly enough it went ok...but that ride is dangerous....using 4 real humans to test a ride is rediculous.
