Now, you need to go look at CC’s career game film to understand there is no weakness in her game to add with shot selection. She has a runner & mid range game but those are not good shots so she rarely takes them which is the correct thing to do. Most fans are stuck in the past & don’t understand modern offensive basketball is 3’s, layups, & free throws period! Why? 1. 4 out 12 = 33% that’s 12pts on 3pt shots. 2. 6 out 12 = 50% that’s 12pts on 2 pt shots. It’s really simple math a low percentage 3pt shooter is equal to a 50% 2pt shooter. So, why in the hell would you want an excellent 3pt shooter like CC to take more bad 2pt shots instead of 3’s even if she’s shooting a low percentage? This year is proof that even with her shooting a low percentage from 3 she is still a top scorer in the league. Fans need to understand modern analytics there’s a reason why she doesn’t take mid range shots they are bad shots period! 😂 Her legs are fried because of games played & usage she will never shot this low from 3 again after she gets some rest this off season. She’s a career 38% percent from 3 so that’s what I expect her to shoot after this season. Also, CC is playing nice this year with her teammates being a team player but she is going to increase her shot attempts next year to 20 a game I guarantee it. She will be the top dog and that means she will dominate this league averaging 30-25 pts & 10 assists book it just like in college. I actually think she will hit those avgs after this break. Sorry! But CC doesn’t need to work on her game to take bad mid range shots. CC just needs to continue playing modern analytical 🏀 shoot 3’s, pressure the rim, and get to the free throw line.

I suspect that she's already committed for a few reasons...first Michelle Wie is one of the investors and is friends with Caitlin. Second, I have a hard time imagining that the people backing this league financially would have committed to the kind of money necessary to pay those salaries if they didn't already have an agreement from CC.
