So many twists & turns! Hilarious! I'm one of those annoying people who wouldn't participate in cheating on another person, but that's an individual preference & no judgement. Alex was great in this too. I think the dynamic was easier because you were all on zoom, rather than 2-3 people in a room with Alex on the phone trying to keep up.

OK, I usually watch these in the wee early hours before a Monday morning (West Coast, near San Fran) but today it worked out I took a long ass'd bus ride (two actually) to a job site and back again- partly because the Start and Destination were literally doorstep to doorstep. On the way home I was about 25% battery on the phone when I began the episode and eek'd out a finish by the time I made it to the end, including waiting around for a transfer to another line. 2% battery, for the Win! All these words I'm typing are because the episode was gripping, entertaining, high-Larious, and fun as hell.

I'm losing it. When Bre said that the staff had come up to her and said "Can you pass this onto Ashley - Straight with mother seated", I thought Bre said CEDED, not SEATED. As in, straight and mother have ceded, they've given up sovereignty, surrendered, officially dropped out of the game and handed the power to Active & Available Queer. 🤣🤣😂 It took me a hot minute to realise Bre had said seated. I also lost it at "You should give me your contact information but also leave the premises while I hunt down this other woman and her mother". This is some of the funniest unhinged shit. 🤣😂 Meanwhile Ashley's got the entire staff and audience looking under their chairs for the disappearing-straight. Like a fire alarm has gone off and you're like "all hands on deck!!" I wheezed and nearly turned my trachea inside out when we got to the "aloof" bit. On a random note Ashley that mustard-yellow-gold tshirt is the best, most flattering colour on you!

This story was such a beautiful mess, and I was rooting for you thru the whole thing. This has helped my self confidence too, bc I've been there and been like, am I terrible for trying to navigate gracefully thru a messy situation? Maybe I just shouldn't try? And when you own it, shamelessly but with well intention of fairness - I just wanna live up to that. Not give up, just be kind and honest. And hopefully avoid anything so messy, but honestly that's up to fate.

Question about different audiences in different countries: when you were in Belgium, I felt almost self conscious that we Belgians are "quiet" as a crowd and I was trying really hard to laugh loud enough 😅 it felt kind of weird, like we were trying to communicate in our way that we liked the show, but it was lost in translation 😂 Afterwards, I was watching a Belgian comedian who got consistent Belgian-level laughter during a show and it felt totally normal and natural to me for it to be kind of subdued and quiet. I started to wonder if, as a visiting comedian, do you learn to read the different types of crowds in different countries?

I agree on the "that's a you issue" point. Ultimately I'm not the one in a commited relationship (though it's definitely a turn off. But also, they can just not disclose and you end participating in the cheating anyway). And like, if it was someone I wanted to have a relationship with, it would a hard no because if they're willing to cheat on their current partner, there's a good chance they'd cheat on me too. But also also, I do feel it's a little different when it's someone saying they're straight, in a straight relationship but looking to hook up with someone of the same gender because they might just need something like that to break out of the closet.

😂Fun episode. Maybe she's still figuring it out. However, when I was young, a friend knew I wanted to have sex with a woman, she came on to me, and we both cheated on our boyfriends (they didn't know.) I caught feelings hard core. I was really uncomfortable a little while later when she asked me to be a bridesmaid at her wedding. I backed out. Even though that was like 30 years ago, I still wonder what might have been if things went differently. Nice to see Bre 🙂 😆When the mic covers the H on Alex's shirt. I love having Monday's off to enjoy the pod while being a bum and drinking coffee. My lesbian dream job was masonry, but good thing I was too intimidated by all the males at the time, my body could never handle it now.
