5:35:06 and onwards for the Crying Goddess fight. I tested it out the softlock potential. Just don't use and items in the 3rd column 2nd slot or 4th slot on that fight to restore HP, AP or Both. After testing the first 7 items of the 3 columns and for some reason, it softlocks on those two slots being selected. otherwise, It was a great run and I had a lot of fun. But just found out that info and if anyone wants to learn it, this is the only softlock in the game, so least any new people can know what to avoid.

I love how the strats for BReath of Fire 1 are literally just the strats you used growing up playing the game. E-key spam and dragon spam endlessly.

@Shauny7188 I don't know if I can finish this after that shade thrown at CT (I kid). Amazing run, amazing commentary, and just all around pleasant video to watch. BoF has a soft spot in my heart cause my dad played it when I was a kid while he was recovering from Hepatitis for a long time and then I got to play it years later on my own.

Its a silly little game when it comes to it, but as a speedrun its one of the coziest to learn and do. Glad it was a pleasant watch. (:

This was really fun! Watching BF2 as well. I wasn't entirely sure that Win Ben Steins Money wasn't just a weird late 90s fever dream but I guess other people saw it.

Its so sad how Breath of Fire crashed and burned as a franchise, in hindsight it was a super original series.

it makes me cry inside everytime you call him RYE- you..... Ree-you....the word is Ree-you...it means dragon in japanese.

I blame my brother playing street fighter growing up calling Ryu as ree-you. Its just hard to override that name in my head after 25+ years.

It would be nice if you could load your videos quicker than you do. I was watching this love 24hrs ago and fell asleep, had to wait a while to see the end.

It would be nice, but it's not really how these things work. Someone has to take the time to highlight them out of the original stream, and then it takes quite a bit of time for KZbin to actually process the video from the original stream. Not a lot faster it really can go.
