Would've been nice to expand on this in a remake : Keep the fight with Teepo but at the end if it, depending on choices you made throughout the game, you can get the option to spare him then start a whole new side quest to free him from Myria's influence and finally get the boys back together to kick ass in the end.

I was just glad to get Rei back, although it's a game the fact Rei wanted to avenge Ryu and Teepo was a big brother move and I put Rei in the party everytime i replay the game just so he and Ryu can fuck shit up!

@Wayfarer's Journey Hahah funny you say that because when I first played this game I was very young and my file was way behind my older brother’s. When I watched him play and he got to the part he had to kill Teepo, I was so sad that I stopped playing my file. Besides my girl Momo, he was my favourite character and I had a crush on him; I so didn’t want to kill him, that I quit the game 😭 But recently I’ve finally been fully playing over the series as an adult. I’m upto BoF2 right now and I’m already bracing myself for having to kill Teepo in BoF3. I’m an easy crier when I play video games so I know I’m gonna need a bunch of tissues 🤣

here i am again..... been through some shit i wonder, that blind friend, blinded by love, thinking he has become an adult because of that... will he be Rei, coming back more mature and a REAL adult, or will he be teepo, blindly following the one he's obsessed with? i'm afraid it's the latter, but i find Rei way cooler goodbye, teepo..... farewell..... to be honest, i'm more of rei myself, changed to be an adult, yet young at heart its just that.... we were closer than rei and teepo were, cuz they werent together for 15 years and we became adults together, could say now he's been "teepo'd" ps. i typed this with tears in my eyes, as this song gets me every single time again o_O oh yeah, i play Stardew Valley lately, and made Rei... kinda, yellow skin, yellow spikey hair, haha called the farm he's on "Cedar Woods Farm"

i'm playing BoF3 again, and when i was going (spoilers coming) to Rei at the treehouse, i started crying like an idiot i lost the only REAL friend i had, as he now feels more mature due to having a girlfriend even now holding back..... nope, they come again i wanna get over it, but i lost so much by losing him (and he losing his mind over being more mature now..), that i cant JUST get over it i already dont have much in life, and am stuck in a bad situation, so losing him was the worst pain we're NOT gay, but we felt each other's feelings well and i was gonna support him with his girl, but seems he became a prick, and she wants his attention too much, so losing me was a great deal for them now.... for me too, just in another way, a bad way now struggling even more, while he's in dreamland, and i'm in hell weird thought, how he likes her so much, yet he complained about being the only one who can cook well, and how he thought he deserves a massage more than she does, as he has harder work but oh well, i lost sight of most feelings of others through time, and cant cry over others much, anymore, just myself i became a loner now, and am losing my father, who's suffering from dementia and alzheimer, and his lungs are almost filled with (dunno name), so he cant breathe well i'm fighting, but i sometimes lose the willpower to go on (insert moxa joke here) .... lifestory, sorry anyway, i feel for the sadness and beauty of the friendship that ryu and rei have in this game when reuniting .... still strong song, as it got me hard when i was playing... everything went through my head RIP the friend i once knew, and i hope he'll one day wake up, which i doubt rest in peace with Teepo, ex-friend (he wouldnt get it, as he doesnt play it) thanks for uploading this song :')

Dude... hope everything turned out for good nowdays. I've been in a similar situation where I got 'lost in paradise' ... so... sharing a bit of the other side, heaven as you described might be the very hell once your friend finds out (if he didn't already) how much he's sacrificing for having a romance. One day, everyone finds out what having a real partner looks like. Nobody that really loves you will force you to sacrifice what is dearest to you. So yeah, this girl looks more like Myria if you put into BoF world. Be strong bro!

@@shidoro Thanks, that's an old comment :P It's still a mess in my life, and i was JUST thinking about that dropped friendship an hour or so ago, did you know? :P But yeah, he'll one day find out he dropped the friend who wouldn't drop him like that.... maybe he'll wake up, maybe he'll be stuck in his fake paradise, who knows? Either way, i gave up hope by now, and try to live on, without him and the friendship we once had. If i never get him back as close as we were, then i'll have to let go eventually, but it's pretty painful, as it really was the only friendship i ever had with such strong bond towards another person, aside from my parents and sis. Maybe he sees it now, but he hasn't contacted me, so i doubt it. The last times i saw him, he was pretty proud f himself, and pretty full of himself, too. So i doubt he'll ever be back, and even if he'd be back, will he be himself again, or still that kid who thinks he's more "mature".... whatever he sees as mature, that is? I lost hope, and mostly gave up, and if i'd ever find a true lover for myself, i'll let him go forever, and go on without him, even if he'd fall real hard, as i doubt he'd admit his mistake of dropping me as friend, seeing as he's very much like Vegeta from DBZ, proud, but also blinded by his pride. I grew up in these 5 years, he's still stuck with his head in that nice looking, yet energy absorbing world, with his attention seeking girlfriend. But hey, he'll feel more pain than i ever would... aside from when i lost him and when things got worse right after that (no details, but was really bad). He'll be living with shame forever, while i grew over the pain i had back then.... a lot, not 100% yet, busy with that. We'll see, time will tell, and in the meantime i'm busy with MY life, and he's gonna fall harder, as each day with her, might be (if he'd ever wake up) another step higher he'll fall from. Guess that good vibes might help, somehow. :P Troubling times around here, been laid off the company I've worked for almost 10 years about 9 months ago and still hard to get over it and find a new job, especially during quarantine... Hard to see the time going by and so my reserves... But who knows, still looking for a job and also a reason to be proud of myself, professionally I mean. You know, after 10 years my life turned upside down when I got courage to get away from my "private paradise" (more like a disguised hell though). I found a new partner which taught me what admiring and respect really are. Took time, but I'm fully happy with my partner now. So yeah... Gotta keep my head up if I want become proud of myself someday, step by step and fighting against all this self-doubt and lack of confidence. Didn't want to keep up talking just about myself but felt like giving back after all you said bro! I mean, regardless the case, we all carry the burden that we want, but some things are worth carrying than others.... Drop the dead weight and soar away man! Live a happy life however you can.
