My childhood bestfriend passed away back in 2017. Cancer took her life away. She was only 16 years old and had her whole life ahead. We were both fairy tail fans at that time and even tho I never continued, I still listen to the soundtrack sometimes and remember of us. Rest in peace D.

It’s due to the power of friendship trope and “lack of death” if you want something else go read berserk. At the end of the day FT is meant to be a fun battle series, sure there are serious moments but it’s met to air on the side of caution. If it was meant to be truly sad or epic then the author would post scenes that are that on twitter again like the panels from berserk. That is not the case the author just blueballs us with ships of the main cast instead.

Even they do is bad they have a goal and they wont give in or up. They only give up when they feel the hope is gone. That there no other options or if they are forced to give in to save their lives. Something to respect some villains. Oracion seis good example. They never stops wont quit until they find their true purpose.

Fairy Tail was the only thing I had to comfort me when my dad died. I isolated myself from everyone for a week, just locking myself up in my room to watch fairy tail and try to forget about the coffin that was displayed right outside my room. Fairy Tail had been so much of a memory and the greatest comfort I could have ever asked for. It made me cope better and helped me convince myself that everything was going to be alright.
