This mod really highlights the problems with Breath/Tears in how too much freedom really ruined a lot of puzzles you had to think about earlier in OoT. A mix between the games would be nice. World freedom of Breath but liniarity and time gating puzzles and dungeons until you have the means to do them. Metroidvania style.

Manual jumping should have been a feature in OoT. I can think of some potential reasons as to why it was not a feature but the amount of fun a manual jump adds is far more significant.

It's actually cause playtesting OoT was the first time Aonuma ever played an action game and he had a hard time landing the jumps so he suggested they just make it automatic

@@HamAndCheeseGuy It is an action game, though, and the game expects you to fight enemies and stuff in real time, manual jumping would not really increase the difficulty at all and may even potentially make the game easier. This is Nintendo, the company known for making Super Mario Bros, manual jumping is not something they should be afraid to add to a game.

OoT is also one of the first 3D games before any sort of standard was created for camera controls. The controller was also non-standard. Nowadays there are many standards people expect for a 3D environment, but that comes with learning and development.

Sadly that was made for Ship of Harkanian OoT. I don't think we'll ever see a release though. I don't think the modder wants to release it to the public at all yet. Some modders want to keep mods to themselves sadly for personal reasons. Probably Nintendo related stuff. :(
