The trailer makes sure to show that during the sky island scenes that Lower hyrule is black and devoid of structures and even lack of floating malice castles or even ganon's influence, while the ground shows no islands and only glimpses of the malice castle.

the malice preventing him from using the mastersword is very clever. they needed a legitimate way to not have us start with the most op weapon in the game. And the curing part would mean nintendo gets to put a pull-the-mastersword cut scene in the game.

Yeah, but how exactly would they cure his arm? Zelda's gone so the possibility of her praying or using her powers is gone till near of the end of the game, and the master sword gets rid of evil so if he carries the sword, he's probably going to get his health slowly drained because his arm is infected with malice, so if they do cure it then it'll be towards the end of the game so you'll just get to use the master sword in the Ganon boss fight because Zelda has to use her powers to get rid of the malice and Zelda's gone and Nintendo wouldn't dare kill her off and you couldn't just have her return early because you won't get to play with the arm's powers.

I think one of the best setups is to make you feel like a god at the start and have 13 hearts to tank hits from enemies while you get acquainted with the game. I suspect you either won't have the champion abilities or they will be significantly nerfed because the champions' spirits were able to move on. This feeling of invincibility will convey the narrative that link - and by extension, the player - has grown too comfortable with the power and recklessly attacks Ganon; getting way closer than he should to the malice. The malice inflicted wound he suffers would be good reason to sap his hearts and the arm to sap his stamina and champion powers (if he still has them).

My theory is that the hand sealing Ganondorf is a Wizzrobe hand, the anatomy matches the concept art in "Creating a Champion" on page 149. 3:07 The building in the background looks like one of the Lomei Labyrinths, further proving the theory that this has something to do with the Zonai. 4:05 A previously scrapped idea from the first BOTW, the paraglider has streamers now. 5:31 THE MONSTERS HAVE LITERALLY EVOLVED! Longer horns, and they [The Bokoblins] have teamed up with a "Boss Monster". 8:21 The shield is Zonai, the dragon figure head is similar the the stone statues near the Spring of Courage in the Faron Region. Edit: Something I noticed recently was that Ancient Link from the painting was holding the Fierce Deity Sword from Majora's Mask. Edit 2 & 3: Zelda is NOT falling up, if she was, her cape would be pushed BEHIND her, not forward. This is due to the wind pressure against her back. SCIENCE!!! The Lomei Labyrinth in the background! My theory is that this is taking place in the past. And eventually, all the islands and structures on it would fall down. Which would explain why the Lomei Labyrinth near the Akkala region is far out near the sea. Edit 4: If you pause at 8:44, look at the background, and you'll see you're west of the Thunder Plateau. But, you don't see any of the Zonai pillars next to where the Lynel would spawn. Further proving the theory that this is in the past and eventually the sky islands will fall to the ground.

Looks like Ganon(dorf) is really petty, dropping Zelda's bedroom was definitely out of spite from keeping him locked up for 100 years. Also I just realized that Zelda will probably be _really_ messed up in the head at the end of the Breath of the Wild saga. She spent her whole life isolated, failing to unlock this power she was supposed to be able to control after her mom died, her dad was incredibly harsh on her, she blames the entire Calamity on herself, all of her friends died, she fell in love with her knight only for him to DIE RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER, she sealed herself INSIDE THE EMBODIMENT OF PURE EVIL, thought the world was saved but ended up causing a whole new catastrophe, falls down a pit (speculation from here on out), nearly dies, and is captured by Ganondorf again, probably will have to do a final fight with her and Link's lives on the line, all before she even reaches 20 (biologically). Link and Zelda are gonna need some really strong therapy...

Alright heres the plot, according to me, based on what Im seeing. The green hand is none other than that of the ancient hero from the tapestry. After Links arm gets infected/possessed by malice, the energy of the ancient hero has no choice but to fuse with his arm in order to prevent the death or full possession of Link. Im assuming he's incapacitated by it, thus why he's lying down when the green substance fuses with his arm. In doing so, the soul/story/memories of ghe ancient hero are fused with Link as well, which is where the 2 different Links in the trailer come in. Current Link is always shown in the champions tunic and never in the same shot as any of the floating islands. The current hyrule scenes where the castle is floating at the end, theres not a single floating island in the sky. The Link in the "ancient" outfit IS the ancient hero. I believe were going to play out the game, at least partially, AS the ancient hero, in ancient times, his own time. We never get a frontal/face shot of the ancient Link. This is also why the new shield has the same, or at least very similar, emblem as the earings on the new Shiekah-styled enemy. I also think this is NOT a new enemy, but a friendly character, thus why it assembles using the green energy and not malice. I believe the Hyrule with the floating islands IS ancient Hyrule and that we're going to get the story from 10,000 years ago. I think this is absolutely SICK and I cannot wait to play this game.

I think the water drop gives us a lot of information. This could be the fact that those islands originated from the ground. Hence why it would be covered in ruins and why link would be diving into them. It would have reversed gravitational effects since it was originally underground and not in the sky. (Due to wind/air pressure) And I don't think Link would've mastered the hand magic so quickly. Any powers or abilities given to Link usually only affect himself and not others. An example of this is Mipha's Grace, he can only heal himself and not others.

Awesome video as always! Just two comments: 1. At 8:04 you mentioned that the shield is dog-like, but it may also be dragon-like. In fact, it is the same art style used by the Zonai in their architecture, particularly with their use of dragon iconography. 2. At 10:15 you mentioned that the music is reminiscent of the dragon theme in Breath of the Wild. The song is actually Koji Kondo’s iconic Zelda’s Lullaby which is set to the same orchestration as the dragon theme. What stands out is that the music is more melancholic than when it was used in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, for example. What will happen to Zelda in the game is definitely something to watch out for.

2 things. 1 - Ganon's Gerudo jewelry is a reference to urbosa stating that Ganon disguised as a Gerudo after beating the Divine Beast. 2 - The robot is most likely friendly, as the eye is flipped upside down, and flipping things upside down is a symbol of opposition, good example being the Yiga Clan symbol being a flipped Shieka symbol.

My theory: Ganon is still dead, but the malice has infected him and brought him back to life, sort of as a zombie. It can control his actions and force him what to do, similar to the cordyceps fungus in real life. The malice then continues to spread over Hyrule like a deadly plague, infecting everything it touches. Most of its inhabitants flee to the islands in the sky, where they are free from its deadly clutches. The only living beings left on the surface of hyrule are monsters and the zonai The malice has infected the monsters and enhanced their abilities, like how bokoblins have longer horns now. When link kills monsters now, instead of the blood moon, they get revived by the malice and brought back stronger, which would be this games way if adding a difficulty curve, like how in the first game, enemies slowly advance from red, to blue, to black, to white and then gold, or some variation of that. The zonai remain on the surface because they are immune to the malice. The strange green energy acts as a vaccine for them. The only familiar face left on hyrule is Zelda. As the phases go on, Ganon slowly becomes more consumed by malice, until, in the final form, he becomes just a quivering ball of malice This is the core of all malice, and if Link destroys it, the malice will die and Hyrule will be saved

The Mysterious Symbol has the green designs on the edge which are reminiscent of the sealing spiral in the first trailer. The middle looks like a broom, possibly there to symbolize Ganon cleaning up his act.

6:24, Zeltik pointed out in his breakdown that Link is most likely in the sky outfit here since it looks like his shirt is off or partly off. This seems to be some time after the initial time the hand grabs him.

Actually, I think that looks more like how link looks in his underwear in BOTW. I assume that scene is probably from the beginning of the game where Link wakes up with nothing but his new hand and his underwear.

Something i think would be cool and make sense is as if there were 3 lairs, the sky, the caves, and the overworld, and in each you can find 1 part for the master sword, the spirits of din, faro, and Nayru could be in the sky's because the dragons retreat there alot, the sages could be buried underground or something, facing HUGE dungeons protecting them, and the blessing could be from the main land, like maybe the godess statues are infected with malice and a boss will protect each one, and get the blessing, flames, and sages, and the master sord could be one of the main parts of killing Ganon, and maybe saving zelda, and something else (because of the newest trailer depicting what is probably godess hylia, not in a human form, with the whole relation to zelda and importance, it could be that, after falling into malice, zelda lost her sealing power, and had to get it back by doing a quest, possibly being the overworld quest I talked about) to seal away Ganon, being a huge open world, like botw, in the process. And I feel like, because how long it's been in development, we should have big hopes for tears of the kingdom, it would make sense, and would bring back dungeons, maybe even as late Game/ post-game, you unlock more to upgrade link, like the fire arm cannon, and get to actually have a DIFFICULT BOSS COME ON NINTENDO, as well as give importance to the triforce, master sword and how you need it to kill Ganon, and godess hylia, and overall giving a HUGE open area and a giant game, and an amazing multi-hour one, at that. Also, something actually relating to the video, what if Nintendo is doing a sneaky, and the teal thing is attached to links hand by some means, link learns how to use it, and the malice infects the thing on links arm, corrupting it, and while the malice infecting scene doesn't have the arm thing on, maybe Nintendo hiding it for suspense, like marvels done so many times, or they look like different arms, and we just don't see it when the malice attacks, thus keeping it secret, and Nintendos putting them out of order, to trick us

My own theories: that’s not malice that Gannon has in the trailer because malice is more like liquid and smoke but this is like an organism, the zonai hand in the first trailer is the hero hand in the first trailer and that keeps Gabon sealed, I think the dragons (probably farosh) rise the islands up out of the ground and when doing this the ground cracks in certain spots and Zelda falls through one of the cracks
