Breathing Color Matte Timeless Varnish Review

As I'm making the move away from pre laminated canvases and varnishing all my prints, I wanted to test out a matte finish applied with a spray gun. In this video I tested out Matte Timeless by Breathing Color. Image taken by myself!

Hi, I'm new to printing on canvas and was wondering what canvas from BC you're using? It seems a lot of people recommend their canvas and I might give them a shot. I'm used to printing on matte fine art papers, so if you have any recommendations on canvas, or papers, I'd be happy to hear them. Thank you!

what would be the difference between spraying the coating on vs rolling it on? Why would you have to put the gloss on first if rolling it?

Rolling runs the risk of ink roll off, where the ink sticks to your roller and makes a mess of the print. It's also easy to catch crap floating in the air. Gloss varnish does a better job of preventing cracking. So the idea of gloss first is that it will seal the print better then you can top it with matte. I did tests in the past rolling matte GLAMOUR varnish (also breathing color but specifically for rolling, dries slower and self levels). The matte failed miserably without gloss first. With Timeless I spray matte regularly with no other varnish first, but have not done much testing with rolling timeless as I dont have a need.
