I thank You so much Dr. Ekberg. You shows in this meditation the broadness and depth of Your own knowledge and wisdom. I want to BELIVE this isThe New Science, of Medicine -which humans desperately need for Healing themselves. Every adult must learn to take the responsibility for their own Life and Health. No Governemt or Health Institutions can do this for us. The OLD system is falling apart right before our eyes - for those who can see. Use this wonderful meditatio,n train your Highly Intelligent cells to GOVERN Your own Being - not other people. They have their own unique Soul and Spirit. ALL You ever will need IS already inside. NOBODY knows You as Good as YOU. "You are the ONLY ONE" (Walter Russell) UN-LEARN what You are NOT.

Finally someone who demystifies breathing so you can avoid the yoga exaltation and stay on the facts! Here you have it! This is the truth short and simple. It is a Scandinavian tradition to demystify things and seek the truth, that Doctor Ekberg uses with succés. This applies to his entire Channel. Well done Doctor. Mycket bra!

Thankyou for these contributions. I used to thrive off of the adrenaline. I liked and participated in sports like pole vault, football, rock climbing, and other adrenaline pumping activities, and I didn't understand how much they can cost your health if the stress isn't kept in check. Now, I'm shying away from the adrenaline life style as it induces too much stress and anxiety. Cold hands and feet have been a near constant through my life, but have become more prominent in adulthood. I tried five minutes of some of your breathing and visualization techniques and sure enough, my hands and feet are getting toasty.

After doing the 5 minute breathing exercise for a few days, I'm finding myself breathing this way more and more during the day. I'm feeling my body and mind reacting in such a positive way! Much much calmer and more relaxed.

Very informative, We always hear about the breathing patterns of breathing in and a longer breathing out but the reason for doing that is not explained. In this video it is very well explained,
@drekberg5 жыл бұрын
Thank you Martha G. Nothing much seems to ever be explained. That's why I made this channel.
@AbAb-mm3og5 жыл бұрын
Thank you Dr Ekberg. 🙏Indeed it is good to understand the reason. After practicing different types of meditations, my breathing pattern is automatically as Martha has mentioned, but in addition, I spontaneously tend to hold after breathing out. As a result my normal respiration rate is 6/min (and if I meditate it is 3-4). I had read that the blood pH is influenced by the breathing pattern. It would be great if you could do a video on breathing and pH. These days there are quite a few videos on taking ACV (apple cider vinegar) or other things to make the blood more alkaline, but I have always wondered if that is enough or one needs to adopt a breathing pattern (if not adopt, at least practice daily for some time) that would help in alkalizing. Also, it would be good to know if there is indeed any medical reason for the yogic alternate nostril breathing. If that falls beyond the scope of your videos, then perhaps just about the breathing and pH would be great. Thank you sir. 🙏

@@drekberg the video was very insightful and it came at the right moment I needed it. It is a confirmation becuz I used to do the torsion waves breathing in a fibonacci Sequence like 8,5,3,2,1,1,0 for the inbreath and 0,1,1,2,3,5,8,13 for the outbreath which I learnt from the Arcturians through Dr Susanne Lie but I tend to always forget. What I learnt from You and found very interesting is that the sympathetic and parasympathetic systems are stimulated while breathing and doing the first few breaths directed, I immediately felt real good and slept like a baby😊 even the following days were amazing too. The other video about the thyroid gland was excellent too 👏! Thanks a lot again. I will definately share it 👍🙏

Amazing! just used your 6min guided breathing video to keep me on track and it dropped me from an average 140/94 down to an average of 127 - 90... I tried Wim Hof breathing and it didn't make a difference... The only problem is it rises back into the danger zone pretty quickly, but I guess like you say, its just practice and perseverance... I'm only 39, but I've been as high as 159/106 - which scares the crap out of me - I thought I was pretty healthy... I follow a 'fairly' strict quality plant-based Dr. M Greggor style diet, I exercise 2/3 times per week, don't really drink often anymore or smoke - have a healthy body, etc... The problem is my work is so stressful and I can't seem to avoid dealing with problems without changing my career -in your experience what's your advice, please? I have a young family and want to be around for many more years... Thanks for the great info and service you provide Dr Sten Ekberg...

I’m surprised you didn’t touch on two main points. Breathing through your nose and breathing through your mouth are very different and one is better than the other. Breathing through your nose is better for the fact that you can filter the air intake and using your diaphragm more effectively. Breathing with your mouth exhausts your back/shoulders/intercostal muscles. Shoulders should not move up and down. Also breathing through your mouth is not only tiring but there’s no filter, more toxic (Eastern medicine methodology). Try both ways and you’ll feel the difference. It takes practice but try breathing with ONLY your nose and you will breath cleaner and easier. Don’t forcefully breath with your nose, do it nice and easy. It’s a practice but well worth it. I’m a licensed massage therapist and have studied these methods with qigong and tai chi.

Thank you so much, Dr. I'm a new subscriber. I do a fair amount or deep breathing so I count longer, usually to 18 or 20 seconds with the in and out breath. So what I'm wondering is this: Would it be more beneficial to breathe out for more than 1 second longer than the in breath? So, let's say 15 seconds in and 20 seconds out vs 16 seconds out? Or in your example, 4 seconds in but more than 5 seconds out? Or is it better to actually keep them close and only have 1 second difference between the in and out breath. Thanks so much for your help!

Doctor how often should we be doing this breathing exercise, as I have started being aware of my breathing throughout the day and doing this excercise throughout the day. Is it good to be concentrating on your breathing so often.. kindly help
