I love all of Ren's vocal work, but i agree that when he really opens up and belts is my favorite of all. The end of this song, his street performance of Man's World (with Sam), a few Big Push songs ... Ren said that when Fred Again performed Angie ("I've been lost) at a concert, Ren just broke down in tears. I think it resonates with all of us, but i can imagine how amplified that would be for him.

"leave me alone", "I've been lost" and "I've been trying"...how can we feel those 3 words so f****** deep in our soul...he doesn't just highlight what he is feeling, but strips away anything that he isnt feeling. 3 stages of "dealing with it", 3 stages of putting yourself back together...and he has had to restart over and over. What ever reason for your struggle, for me combat, you have to try, what ever that looks like for you.

This was as if Ren reminded us that despite putting out a hip hop album and proving that he is a highly skilled rapper, singing and playing guitar is where he feels the most at home. I don’t really know the original songs beyond a bit from one of Ren’s BTS videos, but what he did here was beautiful. The artistry to take EDM tracks and make a mashup so emotional is incredible. Ren has music in his soul and pours so much soul into every performance 🖤🐰🕳️

Good morning Nikoletta! I've been rather quiet on your reactions lately, mostly because I haven't really had anything new to say. So many people have had what I wanted to say so I felt it unnecessary, but now that I've collected my thoughts, I'll try to give mine in your Slaughter House reaction. Fred Again Mashup is a Retake AND a Mashup. He has redesigned multiple songs with multiple different tones though the lyrics are the original, so the retake is musical, rather than lyrical. This was recorded in his apartment during his first stint in Calgary during his initial treatments. Sam was the primary camera operator and cinematographer. This has five of Fred Again's songs, I believe, and I highly recommend you do another reaction of listening to this THEN doing each song in this song as its original track. They are very different from the original. I want you to pay specific attention to the very last few lines of this video as you can see these beautiful visual moments in the background, particularly when the camera pans to the exterior angle as a circumstantial moment with an effect of steam rises away just at the right second, giving the line extra depth without being on purpose. Several lights were used in the lighting, including the Sick Boi neon sign behind Ren. Ren just always gives us such beauty. I love him so much and I really pray for his healing and restoration. I know he's trying, but he needs every positive thought and emotion so we can get through this with him. We cannot lose another genius young again. It's too devastating. Ren is a fan of Fred Again and went to a concert. When the song Angie (I've been lost for a while) was played at the concert, it really affected Ren, who was crying because of how lost he had felt for quite some time. Lots of Ren reactors use pausing during his emotional songs to blunt the impact and not cry. Instead of experiencing it, as the intensity builds, they pause to talk, the "telltale face scratch" and then the inevitable "drink of water" help them keep it together instead of forgeing forward and feeling the feelings the songs evoke.

This song hit deep for the community when Ren released it. Mainly because Ren had recorded it while in Canada, towards the end of his treatments, and seemed to be "healed." After his treatment, he and his friends went to Vegas and saw FredAgain live. When the "I've been lost" song was played, you could see Ren tearing up in the crowd.

She seems like a great channel to do a reaction to the band Lawrence. Gracie and Clyde both have incredible songwriting talent and voices and so few people react to them on here. They should be more people shining a spotlight onto them. If anyone sees this that knows how to recommend songs to her, please consider Lawrence - Don't Lose Sight(acoustic-ish) or something like Lawrence - 23 on the Bus or for a showcase of Clyde's voice, Lawrence - Guy I Used to Be (acoustic).
