You called the trees at the painted hills "cedars" they are Junipers, like related to cedars but adapted to the dry conditions. I like the lumber as it has lots of personality, knots, voids color and grain. It smells nice as well. I live in the area and love it all. You have nice pictures and narrative. I like and appreciate your opening scripture.

A beautifully shot overview of a magnificent region, full marks to the production crew who mostly seemed to have Slavic names,yet captured the essence of the place as well as any local.I cannot fathom out what goes on in the heads of the 35 who gave this remarkable record the thumbs - down.

I have traveled through the painted hills, for work. A lot of erosion going on there. In SW Oregon I found a grove of Dawn Redwood. Very rare tree.

@Beastsofthefield6 жыл бұрын
Stevenowski amen!! It takes more faith to believe that than Jesus's death, burial, and resurrection. 500 brethren saw Jesus after He rose from the grave at one time, and zero people have witnessed millions of years.
