Absolutely fabulous!! Of course I have a lot to say...The monkeys, so cute and I laughed so hard at the thief with the ice cream!!! Your dedication at the end got me a little teary!! Price totally worth that sacred place, but quite expensive compared to the other prices you've talked about so let's call it a donation to keep upthe beauty and maintenance of the place!! The future is ours...Wink wink! And lastly...Tuesday is the day!!!! SO SMOOTH this move, but that's because we've allowed ourselves like 2 months to do it!! We are ready and moving Tuesday morning!!! Ikr, These archeological sites require large sums of money to care for, to renovate, to clean daily, and to preserve. Hundreds of such employees contribute to this. I suggest that you do a little research on any historical site before you visit it, especially its history and archaeological significance, why this place is so famous or worth visiting? Then you will realize that the money was not wasted. Sigiriya in particular is an engineering marvel, and even Arthur C. Clarke has written about it.
