Bree knows what works to get the people away... 😆 every time she turns her arse... You move away. Therefore she is learning how to get you away. Good time to do some halter and lead training. Whenever she gives into the pressure of you guys then reward her by releasing that pressure. Like Daniel does basically, makes her get some attention, she calms down then he lets her leave. Lead training is the same, hold pressure, she takes a step then release the pressure. Would love to see you work more with the girls!

Dejay, you really have to work hard on getting over your fear of being kicked. It's part of the territory just like having horses. They can be cute but cuteness can be nasty or dangerous if you let them. Work with Bri not being afraid of her. If I had a horse that constantly swing its butt at me, it will get the whip and they have to turn around to face me, then they get the praise. I think Daniel is doing a good job getting hands on Bri. In due time Bri will be spoiled like the rest of them lol. Smart idea of putting Bri in a smaller area. She just have to get used to humans. It's a work in progress!

Get a chair and sit in there with her and just talk to her feed her treats. She has learned from her Mom to avoid contact for whatever reason. It will take time. Phoebe will teach her a lot about being social. I'm a horse person who never had a donkey, but they aren't that much different. We socialized a lot of young horses that way. They come around. She Has the best family ever. She is a beautiful little girl. Bet she could win some ribons. Good luck. 🎉❤

The closer you are, the less power a kick would have. Our colts never loved first contacts but we learned to be outwardly confident to encourage them. Using a halter and lead helps and having even partial control of their head allows you to encourage their backside to be away from you. Halter training is also great if they ever need medical or hoof care. You are making a good start and will soon have her more comfortable with you.

Have you thought about getting CBC oil for your older male goat?Jami and Lester use it for Ringo and he is doing so much better. He used to spend so much time on his knees,even just crawling .What they found was oil for goats,although Lester used it too. DJ how do you find the hours to keep up ? ❤ The donkey whisperer, LOL. Love you! P.S. I need prayer, which I believe is the best medicine. I've been very ill. I go to doc on Monday. I'm not fretting or worried that something is very wrong. But I found a lump. I saw it when I showed the other day. It doesn't hurt or anything, but doc will take care of me. I need and desire the prayers of the saints. And I love Jesus!!!! He was crucified and did the suffering for sickness in our stead . He is our counselor, guide, healer, and the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. In other words, I'm a believer!

I remember that movie, too, but can't recall the title. You shouldn't show fear. The best thing to do is up-end a bucket and sit quiet in a corner and let her come to you. She will eventually and she's not being put in a corner herself. She is so cute! Good Luck! 🙂

@Doyourbest you could always get a camping toilet that flushes. I think it comes with a chemical that disolves toilet paper. Then when camping/hunting season comes around Dan and Houston can use it. Its a win win. (Also good for the shouse on the Millcreek property for when Daniel is "cleaning the property, aka playing with his toys lol). Beats driving home to 💩. Lol
