this is awesome, it really simplified the process, and demonstrated the massive amounts of babies that will need to be bred and destroyed. With this, today, I took my 20 clean females and my one singly mutated male, hatched almost a thousand babies, and got my first stacked mut, health(4) with only 2 paternal mutations. yay! But.. Is it bad that I am making the father eat his own babies? XD

Wow! Talk about a very long, as in months long process. Been hatching eggs given to me, which is the shortest part of this and is normally a one day pain. Then comes the raising the young, which is at least a three day, tons of meat and hours of pain. The catch is many of the eggs will not give an actual better offspring. I have noticed a lot of dedicated breeders build round structures that fit the dinosaurs they are trying to breed.

I've done the round structures before and due to the length of time it takes I have grown to prefer servers with shorter breeding times and mods that make breeding easier. It's so tedious!

what is you've leveled a dino before deciding to breed?

For any dinos I select for breeding I never level them so it's easier to track stats. Is that what you're referring to?

yeah, say for early game breeding where you don't have 150's and have dinos with some levels already spent in them. @@Boomsmith

You can always pump levels into them but always record their original stats before you pump levels since those are what get passed on.

That's an old mechanic, you can just enable breeding on all of them now and they can stand still!
