Watching this video has made the calmest I’ve been in a while

Beautiful. Loved the simplicity. The use of different plants, which all had a grassy/spiky-leaf look, made it very cohesive.

that's an awesome iwagumi! im looking to do an iwagumi soon and need to decide on what plants I want to use. so its nice to see the long strap plants at the back and how they look for this style of iwagumi

Glad you like it! And yeah, it's a classic recipe for iwagumi having the grassy plants at the back. It's hard to beat!

Hello from my fish room channel in Chicago, where I am a subscriber to yours ... and envious that you can collect aquatic shrimp suitable for the aquarium in your backyard!

I'm very lucky, having access to a lot of the resources I need right on my back doorstep really makes the hobby more affordable and approachable for me!

This is so beautiful! I have a similar scape in a fluval spec v. My favorite build so far Edit: I, too, had some issues with giant hair grass for some reason. Has to swap out to juncus repens

Cheers, appreciate the feedback! And yeah, the Vivipara was growing okay, but it was definitely too big for the 60P and didn't quite match the look I was aiming for.

damn this scape looks so cozy, i think i'm going to do similar for my next scape, plants and composition. i hope i able to, some plant just simply doesnt work with my water parameter.. low and high tech

Nine months feels like a long time for the plants to fill out compared to other 'scapes....or am I dreaming?
@StowerScapes2 ай бұрын
Several reasons for this; different plants grow at different rates, this tank was planted fairly scarcely to begin with so it took a while for it to fill out, it also underwent some fairly significant changes after a few months and had to 'recover'. I would say it was fully grown in after 3-4 months, but I wanted it to look its best for the video. (And I'm lazy, and it took me a while to get around to filming the final shots 😅)
