Loving 🥰 the Super Chronomat range, in fact in love 😍 with everything Breitling is doing right now Pete. Dad is head over heels 👠 in love with the brand, never seen him snap up watches so fast 💨 before he may as well become an ambassador at this rate. Jacinta, Mum & I are all benefiting from his purchasers as we are all wearing them.

I actually really like the blue one with the blue rubber strap. Unfortunately 44mm would look stupid on my wrist.

Watches of Switzerland in Collins Street has a couple of them in the window. The ceramic bezel takes away a lot if the 90s optic. The steel bezel 42 chronomat is to much Schneider in my opinion. The new rubber strap improves the look in comparison to the rollator. I dont understand the fuzz about the wings at all ? This only seems to matter to hardcore fans of the Scheider era.

On the wings I think its that over attachment to a very specific (and quite small) part of Breitlings history that concerns me. By insisting on the wings (notice people always forget the anchor) its like people are chaining the brand in place - thats why i was glad o see them gone from here.

Yep tried them, too big and brassy for me personally. A very shouty watch in person - but great if thats your thing.

My hot take - hideous - and the 'statement' is "I have no taste and I'm trying to compensate for something...". Hard to believe this comes from the same company as the recent tasteful Premier releases. I wonder if they'll sell the mini-me 2nd dial as a standalone accessory... 😁
