Actually, I own this watch since new in 2008 and love it. I made the negative comment a year ago because I was in a foul mood for some reason and posted something stupid. Thanks, Ken

I got this watch from my father for my 21st, its incredibly accurate lesss than a minute out over a month never dies when i keep it on just the perfect bit off kit. Lovely works under the cuff and the bolloks when you whip it out to tell the time. I couldn't ask for more

This is NOT a Steelfish. Nice watch though.

Hi - you are calling this a Steelfish but isnt the steelfish a model that was produced for one year only. The steelfish has the numbers replaced with round indices instead of the number. But still has the 12, 6 and 9. Thanks

What's a better status symbol: this watch or the Omega Seamaster Professional (e.g. 2531, 2220, 213). Please don't be on the fence. Looking for a definitive answer. Thanks.

Probably Omega since most non-watch (luxury timepiece) people recognize Omega, and Rolex but probably have never heard of Breitling and wouldn't even know how to pronounce it. That's why I personally prefer Breitling because it is something other than a cliche Rolex or Omega. If you are against big multiconglomerate corporations then take note that Omega is part of The Swatch Group which is like the Swiss watch industry mafia. Breitling SA is privately owned. Watch afficionados can go on and one, about in house movements and everything but when it comes to luxury watches it's more about vanity and image as the basis for buying Brand X. The Swiss watch industry almost collapsed because they could not adapt to the new technology and demand for more accurate quartz watches in the 70's. However, they repositioned their watches, gave them a mystique and image and made them into luxury commodities. So as silly as it sounds, get the one which you believe is the coolest, and the one which you think most people will ooooh and ahhh over and that will most likely be the Seamaster. Just don't get the 007 model. That's tacky!

What's the deal Tim? This isn't even the watch you have in your description? And I like Breitling but I don't know why they polish they're supposed dive sport tool watches like this... seems like a poser piece because of that. I really like the brand but prefer the unpolished models...
