It is tough as nails. I have worn one for years. I wear it daily. Had to send back to the factory last year as it has been beaten badly. They rebuilt it, and came home looking brand new. Love this watch.

@@swiix8500 new bracelet, crown, bezel, internals, etc. They basically had to rebuild the entire watch. When they sent me the estimate with all the damage, I did not know whether to feel proud that it took all of that or embarrassed that I had done all of that to it. I dove with it in the gulf many times as well. It was cheaper to do that than to buy a new one. When I got it back it looked perfect. Great customer service btw…

the Bentley of the watch world. I've got this watch and love it. A stronger watch than my Yachty and a fraction of the price. 1000m depth is plenty for everyone. Ultra-think sapphire that you can see through from all angles without reflections. Hash plenty of presence too.

My collection consists of an Omega Aqua Terra, Seiko Alpinist, Seiko SKX007 aaaand this very same Breitling. If I had to choose just ONE, it would be my Breitling. It ticks every box!

How to know if the watch is an earlier model with mineral crystal glass or a newer one with sapphire?

As far as i know/seen this model was produced between 1995-2002 and the models before 1999 have mineral crystal and after 1999 have sapphire.
