i went into their shop in Brum ( idiot even know they had) and was impressed by their quality and customer service

If you're based near Brum why not come to the Sinn event in Coventry on the 20th mate , Do you have any watches worth reviewing on the channel ?

Nice demo. I actually would be a bit freaked out each time I adjusted it, with that lateral shift of all three hands. The increased amount of crown guard material on the bezel side only, is also a bit strange. Otherwise a quality watch, but for me it would be a leap of faith at this price point.

Cheers Anton I know where your coming from ,these and a Bell & Ross are pushing there newer models higher and higher in price but in all fairness with Bremont it seems to be working as there are selling well

What a great looking watch. An absolute great contender for a one watch collection. I didn't know the case looked that way. I love it! I does look like that bracelet may either have a few sharp edges or could possibly be a hair puller. If I could afford that watch I would buy it right now.

@@ClickSpringReview Hi Barry, they're nice enough watches, but are competing in Grand Seiko territory here... Anyway, have a good week at university mate, and keep those reviews coming! Cheers, Bob 🍻

To expensive, yes you get a good watch movement eat, but so you do with say Longines and a lot cheaper, if you compare chronographs Bremont have basic Chrono movements no vertical clutch, also most don't have a long power reserve. I always compare watches from expensive to cheaper, and generally find cheaper watches can out perform the expensive ones in terms of accuracy, warranty service act.

True Alan there is alway going to be the rate of diminishing returns when it comes to things like that. There are many who believe all you need is a well regulated Seiko 5, Instead of having to spend around £350/500 to have it serviced every 5 years say, the Seiko you can just drop a new movement in for £50, For the price of the Bremont I'd like a Rolex or 2 very nice Sinn models myself

Thats fair enough I personally like the crispness of the dial but everyones different 👍🏻

I went to the Wing to take a look a few weeks ago. It was not love at first sight ‘in the metal’ unfortunately. It seems to video really well but reality doesn’t do it any favours. However, the bracelet:mmmm, it felt really sharp-edged and not in keeping with the £8k asking price. Instead, I bought an Ultra-Chron for a third of the price whose bracelet is about the same quality as the Supernova’s ….but then I’m - once I got a deal - £5.5k better off!! Bremont need to move this down on price by £2-3k , then it would start to walk off the shelf. Until then it’s hamstrung on price. And I’ve not even compared it with CW’s recent ‘Twelve’…. Bremont is going to be squeezed from all sides of the market if they don’t watch out.
@ClickSpringReview Жыл бұрын
I reviewed the Ultra-Chron a few weeks back great watch but just a little to big if only it was 40mm, plus as you say if this was 6k that would be better I think F&G with a discount would do it for 7K

The quality of movement is in a different league to the Sellita SW300. Comparing apples & oranges....& I own 3 CW's!

It's nice looking and I think Bremont make some really nice watches but their pricing is just flat out ridiculous! Some of the worst pricing of any brand and because of that, will never own own one.

I’m a sucker for a power reserve. I think it would also be cool if a watch repair person had some videos of these solid caseback movements that the wearer never gets to see but definitely wants to.

Really sound review. Like most Bremonts, I want to like it, but... meh. Nice finishing, but bitsa design and just too expensive. Bremont fits in that awkward Bell and Ross, Montblanc, Panerai, modern IWC market of very high pricing and very modest delivery. When you're charging more than Omega, GS, Cartier or Rolex the offer has to be exceptional, not somewhere at the Sinn, Longines, Tudor level.
@ClickSpringReview Жыл бұрын
I really like this watch but I think it should be around the 6k price point, There is only one Bremont I'd possibly buy and that's the MB2 which after a bit of discount is less than half the price at around 3.5k
@jameshoward9700 Жыл бұрын
@@ClickSpringReview Ha ha, yes, 3.5 is more like it! I Agree the MB is prob the pick of the range (though quite like some of the divers). Maybe a bit big? But I've not had it on wrist. New CEO today - a big hitter! Interesting to see what they have in store.

Highly overpriced as usual... Being British does nothing for me, same with Fears - overpriced for no reason. The design makes the watch sit high. For me it's not at all special, they hope people will see the bracelet and consider it an AP alternative. Personally I find it absolutely ugly. There are better options for less money.
@ClickSpringReview Жыл бұрын
Hi Siergiej I do agree on the price as is high, The lugs are interesting as they point down making it sits well on smaller wrists , I like this the personally but on a side note I owned a new AP offshore diver once and it was an awful I had to send it back 3 times , The Bremont feels much better
@Mesergschmidt Жыл бұрын
@@ClickSpringReview I've no clue about the AP, I'm never going to be able to afford it, so I'll take your word for it :) I only meant that Brem are obviously trying to pull some customers away from them with the bracelet. Brem may be thin and have lugs down, but the side profile optically increases the size - it floats above the wrist making it look higher. The lugs are 53mm and also THICC, it makes it wear large. Big, protruding crownguards don't help. Overall, not a fan... That Sinn is much nicer :D

Bremont has the ugliest dial design in my opinion.
