Her sheer terror reminds me of when I had to have a biopsy done. I had a 1 year old,a newborn, and was being screened for a possible death sentence. Thank God I am cancer free,and was still able to have more children. I now have sons 5,4,3,and (almost) 2. God Bless all those fighting this disease, and all those in the fight with them.

This is so sad the fact that shannon Doherty in real life had stage 4 breast cancer and it went into remission and unfortunately, it came back with a vengeance and spread to her brain. She was so courageous and fought sooo hard. RIP shannon Doherty. To me, you'll always be Brenda Walsh from Beverly hillls 90210. I spent my high school years watching you on Beverly hills 90210. Now, I am in my late 40s and I still love watching you on Beverly hills 90210

That’s what I thought too .. knowing from my mom and how the patient and loved ones live and react - you know making a full recovery with stage iv isn’t possible with current medicine. If you’re extremely lucky and respond to newest treatments you can go into remission again and be “cancer free”. But since the tumour has long metastasized in your lymph system or blood stream - especially when it’s the blood stream - it’s only a matter of time another metastases forms. Only question is can it be kept In check or even destroyed again or not, and If not is it a vital organ. Some patients living 10+ years with stage iv Is a modern miracle. But you know when you’re in your 40s or 50s that’s really not much .. patients and their families hope for as much time as possible and at the highest quality of life as possiblez. Many undergo extensive therapy to come To terms with having an uncurable illness at stage iv, and facing premature death. People well meaningly wishing a full recovery is straining for most of them

ITS amazingly scary how 25 years before she got cancer for real the show predicted it . they could have done the scene with one of the other girls but somehow branda got the cancer scare . i was watching the show as 9 years old but didnt rembeber that . only now to watch this and know what happend also in real life. Also so untypical for teenage drama to deal with Brest cancer issue for this young age

Brenda talks about her health scare in BH 90210 and she had to deal with this in real life. Now the cancer has spread to her brain. Shannen Doherty was always a child star in the early 80s and then she landed in BH 90210 and became a huge star and there were some problems and tension on the set with the other co stars and Everyone was so young back in the day and this show used to popular and good and then it was all about Dylan Brenda and Kelly and Shannen Doherty left the show in 1994 and then she was in Charmed and a couple of TV movies Shannen Doherty was also in People's Magazine and just because she played Brenda Walsh on 90210 her life was so messed up and she was so young. I felt bad when she had breast cancer and her co stars hated her and then now they offered her support b/c she had cancer**** This show is laughable to the new generation who knows nothing*****

I remember this episode very well because latter in life something like that happened to me too. Mine was like Brenda, I went trough months of test and everything was fine but Shannon case was completely different.

Shannen smoked heavily for 30 years ages 17-47. Her Little House co-stars Michael Landon and Victor French both died at 54 from heavy smoking. Shannen should have known better because of that and this episode. Her smoking and implants caused her cancer and death.

I miss the old days when everything was jumping and this was the 1990's and now 2023 everyone would laugh at this show now. The generations that are to come would know nothing and they would laugh at this TV show.... Dylan and Brenda going to Mexico they would be missing or dead now! Sad how this show was popular and then it all went downhill from there and then they tried to bring this show back 30 yrs later. Our generation has moved on.
