A true gentleman, a true legend and most of all, a true Dubliner. I'm sure everyone Irish has their own Brendan Grace story. But here is mine. I was born in Dublin and moved to a different part of the country in the 80's. I had a friend, and we became close after we spent HOURS sitting at their family kitchen table with Brendan's live album on cassette and the old cassette player. Even on that old machine, Brendan's, and Bottlers voice regaled us and caused a many tear to be shed in laughter. If you are not aware of the talent that this man possessed, it says volumes of his talent when a certain mr Francis Sinatra was also a major fan of Brendan's. Think of that as well as how many artists Frank had seen over his lifetime and just exactly it took for Frank to notice, let alone to become a fan. Brendan, from the bottom of my stomach, rip. Thank you for the laughter. From the bottom of my heart, rest in peace. Thank you for the memories. Thank you Brendan. Godspeed.
