First knew of him playing Fr Fintan Stack on Fr Ted, however Brendan could hold his own with Dave Allen. That’s some comedic range.

We had cassette tapes of him and any time my son listened to them the whole time he would burst out laughing. Several times he would perform in a pub here in Tipperary my husband was there to hear him. He also came to a wedding here in Tipperary the wedding himself and his wife attended the girl was their nanny. MY DAUGHTER GOT HIS AUTOGRAPH HE WAS A LOVELY MAN GOD REST HIS SOUL.
