Quite possibly the best character in soap history and definitely one of the darkest, twisted and most complex villains on tv. Brendan Brady was an absolute masterpiece. He could go from down right mean, extremely tough, violent, menacing and ridiculously creepy to warm, loving, vulnerable and hilarious with touch of eccentricity and a somewhat gothic personality with a religious perspective on life. The best soap gangster to ever appear on screen in my eyes. Kudos to Emmett Scanlan for his extraordinary portrayal of Brendan.

I'm excited too but the current writers/producer(s) are useless and don't know what to do with the show. I'm scared they'll ruin Warren's character and reduce him to just having flings. plus if the likes of the Roscoe brothers beat him or this Cameron guy I will be annoyed.

+Nivanfield Yeah i agree, i hope they keep Warren as a bad boy, i reckon Warren will make Freddie his errand boy. Its a shame Robbie has left as i reckon he could have been good as Warren's little puppet. As for Cameron, i hope Warren crushes him.

Saying that, i reckon Joe would put up a good fight against Warren. Warren would win against Joe but he would have to use his strength more as Joe is quite strong and is quite aggressive. Warren would destroy Freddie easily.

+nikeish pounder I agree with you there. Cameron is starting to annoy me now, since he was responsible for Ziggy's death i think people have gone off him. I also hate how he acts like Father of the year to Peri. You are right, Brendan and Warren were a great team, given the fact they spent most of the time playing a game of one upmanship. Who would win do you think, Brendan, Warren or Trevor. If all 3 had a feud who would come out on top.

Brendan needs to come back and sort Ste out, he's a mess now and him being with Harry is a joke, not to mention him ruining his relationship with John Paul. Brendan kept him grounded.

Brendan was never evil. He was a good man that made mistakes, deep down he didn't mean to ever hurt Steven. He didn't mean to hurt the people he cared about. He just didn't know how to care. And he's similair to Steven, his father abused him too, except worse of course. Both Steven and Brendan abused people some point in their life. Brendan truly was a good person, stuck in the mind of a bad person.

LOL. It's amazing how people will twist things to create a narrative that they prefer. Brendan is a great character but to try to make out he's not bad & absolve him off any blame for some of the bad things he's done is ridiculous. Brendan robbed his sister TWICE, one of those times even bashing her over the head with an iron bar to steal her club takings. He sold & even imported drugs using innocent & unaware people as drugs mules. He threatened Amy Barnes & her child. He murdered three people. He was a domestic abuser. I could go on. I see this all the time in shows, people becoming charmed & enjoying a character so much that they try to justify the abhorrent things they did, the psychology of it is interesting to me. Brendan & Warren are my favourite characters, I love a great dark character, but whilst they have certain good qualities & even do some really good deeds from time to time, there's no justifying some of the things they've done & they've done bad many bad things purely for the purpose of their own personal interest.

@@darrylball3880 It's pretty close but I think Warren is worse. Not just because he's killed twice the amount of people Brendan has but I think Brendan shows a greater capacity to be remorseful for his actions. Also, none of the people Brendan killed were innocent, they were all a threat to him or wronged him in some way whereas some of Warren's kills innocent people. Dale for instance who he murdered merely because he needed a body in order to fake his own death. He also paid Dom to torch his brother Tony's restaurant which killed Steph & Malachy.

The first one was Danny when he threatened Ste (obviously lol), the second person was his grandmother after he found out that she knew he was being sexually abused by his father as a child and did nothing to stop him (he smothered her to death if you didn't know) and the third person was Walker when they were having a punch up on a viaduct; Brendan kicked him in front of an oncoming train in order to protect Ste, Ste's kids and Cheryl as Walker threatened to hurt them.
