Lack of incentive. If no amount of hard work will result in men getting a GOOD woman to pair up with, then why try. It feels like a rigged game.

Exactly, why pay taxes, build the infrastructure and maintain the economy so that women can have comfortable lives only to look down on us that make it all possible. Men are net tax payers and women are net tax beneficiaries. Their comfortable office jobs are only possible because of hard working men. There is no incentive. Jobs don't pay anything, nobody wants to train willing able bodied men in a trade because they already want someone older with experience, women want a guy who makes six figures but very few men make that ect. When these jobs pay so low that you can barely afford to eat or pay rent let alone buy a house and take care of a family there is no point.

It's bad enough we've been cannon fodder for drafts and worker ants since the dawn of civilization, we took it in stride because we felt appreciated for it. Though now we're not appreciated or respected in the slightest, it's the opposite. Why in the heck would a man want to contribute to a society/culture that hates him? People can talk about the cost of living or being treated like crap at work but to be fair, we've endured worse during certain eras. Though the difference now is a hostile culture and very few good women to start families with. We did it for our family, now there's zero incentive.

There's no reason for me personally to sacrifice 5/7 or even 6/7 days of my week for my entire life so that I can watch some pharmacy/beauty store succeed as a company. At that point you're only at the gym for 4-6 hours a week at most, barely doing hobbies, barely talking to people, barely paying attention to opportunities around you. Plus workplace politics are a pain, women start liking you cause you're the only new guy they have seen in years, and we all know what happens when you reject someone at work. We can automate so much, why the fuck do I NEED to work 40 hours at YOUR company. If I want to take care of my family i want to hunt, plant and grow the food myself, that way I'm actually seeing that my time and effort matters.

@@Brujo2016 well actually, when you invest more into your hobbies you actually can do more and make more. So twitch livestreaming, it's easy to get views if you're established in a niche on youtube, then you have 2-3 different revenue streams there (youtube, twitch, donations). Then with your freetime outside of your "side hustle" You start up second channels and post to instagram which also pays $5 per 1k reel views, (i did a skateboard trick off a curb and it hit 4k views). Thats the Current climate we're in right now. People aren't really interested in dying for a company, people are more interested in what other normal people are doing. livestreamers watch other livestreamers, the community feeds itself. Right now I work 2/7 days a week for 20 hours, I'm a pharmacy Tech (trade school) in manhattan, No food stamps anymore, no cash assistance, just raw budgeting and overcoming obstacles. I have $400 leftover every month from my job alone.

Working is slavery. Rich people are complaining because they have no one to walk their dog, mow their lawn, or wipe their butts. I dropped out of the labor force and I have no plans to do myself in. Suicide is caused because of addiction to something and most men that kill themselves is not because of lack of work . Not working is the result of the addiction. The only reason to work is to kiss azz. The job doesn't really care if I die or get cancer the next day outside of work. There's always a replacement. In fact, most jobs have now affected people's personal lives to the point where they hate other humans. Before now, jobs in the good ole days sort of gave men a sense of pride even if they were manual labor. I've had jobs (good and bad pay) where when I got off from work, I did not want to deal with people at all. Not even my own relatives. The only thing that can motivate a man to work is a wife and kids to take care of. Since that has become hard to obtain/maintain, most younger men are just doing the bare minimum to pay for the basic life necessities. I don't know about anyone else, but I've never woke up excited to kiss the boss/manager's azz for employee of the month.

Fellas, stay with your folks, get a job, help them pay off their house early, have them put your name on the deed/title. THEN get married. House not good enough for the woman? Oh well... Community property law is on your side at that point.

So, are the women who made this labor study concern there are fewer men to syphon off (monetarily)? I do not understand the concern. Women have decided they can all things men can do and probably better. It takes only one man technically to populate the entire world, and since he is not needed otherwise, once again, I do see the reason for concern. Have a nice day. 🙂 Live long and prosper. 🖖

Women play no role in causing this crisis for men--low-education men are unemployed because the industries that used to gainfully employ them like manufacturing or agriculture have largely become mechanized or off-shored--women didn't take those jobs, they've simply been lost altogether, or low-wage workers in Mexico or China do them. This is a crisis caused by capitalist post-industrialism, not feminism. Women are doing slightly better because they're better at the kind of jobs that are left--service jobs or those that require education. Eventually those jobs will be mechanized too and there will be very few jobs left at all.

this is a lie. Majority female educators have been found to grade girls higher than boys for the same work. Universities are openly anti men. Quotas have openly favoured women. Just look at scholarships, way more for women. If you look at sentencing disparities for the same crime men get a higher sentence for the same crime. I'm a software engineer. I went to a conference (I've written books in the field), I got benched from a talk in favour of a woman who had barely graduated and the organisers openly said to my face "she's a woman and it looks better for the conference", I don't waste my time at conferences anymore. I grew up in a poor environment, if I go for training I have to pay more because I'm a white male. I openly stay away from big tech because again you're going to have to work a lot harder to get a promotion. I keep to small companies and have been building my own software business on the side which has now had 6-figure cash flow. A lot of smart male software engineers I know are doing similar things. If you've got half a brain and you're a white male you stay away from the mainstream paths because they openly say they're going to discriminate against you

My boyfriend is 32 and doesn't work. He plays videogaames. The gaming community gives men a sense of a community and the feeling that they're needed in their guilds, such as in World of War craft. In dungeons and dragons they get to be leaders. So I think men are just getting a fantasy version of the things they need through videogames and gaming in general, without any real responsibility and no desire to have children. Blame Blizzard. Women are flourishing though.

As a lesbian no one is saying men are redundant we absolutely need men the issue is that men don’t know how to be men without putting women down in some shape or another everyone wants to feel loved and needed men don’t know how to do that aside from feeling or needing to feel superior based on their gender and not what tangible value they bring to society. (They are so fragile that women merely succeeding to them means they have failed, how about keep going ? Don’t give up ? It’s not about you) There are a small minority of high functioning men who do this I wish they would speak directly to men more and not the Andrew tates of the world who get their ego from sex trafficking women. The world needs men and women to work together men let their ego rule their actions far too much

" Putting women down." Cis gendered, toxic masculinity, a woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle, men are obsolete, we should be able to hate men ... ad infinitum. Are you serious ?? And why is it that concern can only be shown to men when it benefits women ?

Yeah, "just do more and be better". I've heard that before. The problem is that whenever I ask people why I should do all that when nobody cares or appreciates it all I get is crickets. Or "do it for yourself" or some other contrived bullshit. I'd rather do nothing and be unappreciated than do everything and still be unappreciated.

@@peopleofearth6250 well honestly it’s funny you mentioned not being appreciated because I find women have this faarrrrrr worst. Whenever a guy does anything significant with his life most people do support him and people IDOLIZE HIME if he does anything amazing think Elon musk or anything athlete. Try to name one women who people respect and idolize unanimously??? I’ll wait…. My point is, there is a track for men if only they knew how much worst it is in the other side they would be embarrassed. Keep going bro you have to if you ever want to have a family do it for them and start now.
