Thanks so much for present all those wonderful games, It's so cool the C64 is still alive and kicking. And I still can't belive we made on the first Place with "Timo's Castle", what a great honor. ☺

Great video. The interviews with developers made this extra special. Thanks for the awesome C64 goodness. (Just a bit of feedback- the commercials for your other videos would be better at the end of the video and not interrupting the main one. If at the end, I’d be like “thanks for the recommendation”. But in the middle it is like “skip!”

I recognize some of the character images in the yeti game. I don't mind, but it struck me as clearly noticable. Like the bald guy in black 50:59 (from dune 2), or quite obviously Mr. Miyagi at 50:29, the guy at 55:35 who reminds of an actor I can't recall the name of. Not complaining, just found it noteworthy. ^_^

Yeah i don't have any issue with it , if you play the game you'll realise quickly its done in a tongue and cheek style and they are clearly fans of those characters 👍👍

Wonderful lookback on this year's releases. Yup, another great year again. Still looking for that Eye of the beholder standard but that will be hard to top. Only one I'd change in your top 10 is Yeti Mountain, found the gameplay to be lacking.

😀👍 Sarah Jane Avory is working on a full Ultima styled RPG ... I hope we see it next year . Yeti is good i just found the ski competitions to be annoying and that knocked it back a bit

Always happy to see what people are still making on these machines... If my brother didnt join Air Force back around 1990.. woulda most likely still been making programs and games with these.. We got his old 500 when he went away.. only had a few games on it, and in last few years play these old games more than any of the new ones. Something special about the Commodore, Im no tech genius, I cant explain it.. but of al the things I emulate, only the 64 and DOS collections I'm really interested in growing.

Great systems , the simplicity and strict hardware limits make it excellent grounds for programmers to take on games with an end goal . Love my old DOS games as well👍

So many good games. I love how programmers, musians put C64 to the limits in 2024 :) If I had a game like Tony (now it's in color too), as a kid, i would be amazed! :) ps. I love the interviews with the developers

@@BastichB64K I don't know how Atari-ish this channel is but that's my opinion at least I mean I'd to see stacks more games on the Atari 7800 because it's a third generation system like the C64.
@BastichB64K16 күн бұрын
@@MylesSmith-q4y yeah I haven't covered that system much at all , there's just a limit to the amount I can keep track of especially new indie games for old systems ... The C64 is almost a full time job keeping Track of them all and I still can't keep up 😂😂

@@BastichB64K I'm happy to see more cartridge games now being done for the C64 especially now that there's Megabyte ROM size carts for the C64 and the cart's can now even have their own built-in RAM chips for extra RAM which means you can now kiss goodbye to add-ons and modules and carts are capable of instant loading.

Hi mate great vid as always. Was wondering if could help me out? Im looking for united kingdom based online retailers for vintage physical c64/Amiga games and software. I discovered a place through your channel a good while back but cant for the life of me remember its name. They had boat loads of stuff available to buy and i got a few things. Unfortunately i cant remember the name of the shop. Googling is turning up basically nothing and i cant find any reference to it in my emails. If could give us a list itd hopefully be one you can recall. Cheers mate
