If I worked in an ice cream place I would probably do 3 samples max. If the store is busy, we definitely need to limit it due to time.

That 1 free sample policy sounds like a scene from Curb if Larry opened a spite ice cream store. Nicole is right though. One or two samples TOPS and it should only be an adventurous flavor, not chocolate.

Another factor to consider for the Gelato debate, a gelato store is a source of fun and pleasure, the minute you start placing rules and restrictions on gelato consumption, the overall experience becomes worse. A gelato store that hands out samples willy-nilly is superior to a gelato store that limits you to one. What seems to be bad for business is actually good for business.

I think they completely missed the point. Who needs to sample chocolate ice cream? I get it if there's some unusual flavor, but to ask to sample chocolate ice cream is insane.

Im pretty sure Drill rap originated in Chicago, like with Chief Keef....you actually used the word grimey, the UK stuff is called Grime I'm pretty sure. More up tempo, different style of beat. Drill is what Chicago gangster rap is and now theres some NYC style drill out there too

I find it hard to believe Brendan would be fine with someone sampling every flavor if he worked there...faster you get that line cleared out, the sooner you can relax! Even for just a few minutes.

If your turntable is skipping constantly, it's either a cheap player, a cheap/worn needle, or you didn’t bother to spend a minute properly setting it up. I would guess taking a few seconds to brush them off before playing is not a habit of yours either which can damage the vinyl and cause skipping. Vinyl sounding better is obviously subjective but there is a nice quality to it, especially for records that have a unique mix made for the medium-- lots of modern stuff (probably a lot of the garbage Brendan listens to) and cheap remasters of old albums use the CD mix or worse low-quality .mp3 files and they won't make you think it's anything special

How do you know what you like? You like what you like they either make it good or not. If not you don’t come back. You dont sample food at a restaurant why would you in any other business? Grocery stores giving away 1/1000 of a $10 block of cheese is not the same

I went to a Jeni’s ice cream where they had a line for samplers and a line for ppl who knew what they wanted. Thought it was brilliant because they make flavors that are unique so I understand ppl in there wanting to sample a few.

Everything isnt exactly the same flavor to a T but the flavor of chocolate is in a range that shouldn’t need sampling. You dont go to a pizza shop and ask to sample a slice and there is way more variation within pizza than a flavor of ice cream.
