This seems like a real interesting concept for a topwater lure since I have seen bluegill that have been attacked by a heron or some other bird that practically do the same thing. They just sort of wake and float near the surface while occasionally sinking or twirling when they try to swim.

if you thumb the spool gently right before the bait lands it will land weight down hooks up...it will also make a softer landing

I first saw this bait on Dave Mercer Facts of Fishing and it looked like the biggest gimmick since the Flying Lure. After seeing it in action in a place similar to where I usually fish I just gotta have one.

I tried one on a high pressured lake today. Unfortunately no luck. I fished another pond later in the day. They were killing my Bass Pro 2 1/2 inch firetiger egg and later a Gary Yamamoto green pumpkin weightless worm. It was at my favorite fishing spot. I always catch fish there cause nobody fishes there.

I got 1 but it's not a live target. It's an h 2 o express because those are about $7.00 cheaper. Haven't got a chance to fish it yet cuz I got it on Black Friday and haven't been to my good fishing place since then.

Nice ad and demo of the lure. It catches some good ones. But I have a question? This bait supposed to act like a dying Sun Fish? I mean laying on it's side and all... I've only seen a few sunfish swim that way on their own just basting in the sun. BamaBass has a few vids using this and he was catching some 4-6 lber's!

No, it's not. If you pause the vid. on full screen, you can clearly see it is indeed the sunfish lure. Besides, why would Brendan Miller try to sub in a catch on a frog for the last fish... when he already caught 2 fish already in the vid? That makes no sense whatsoever.
