I hope one day I get to thank Brendon for writing Don't Let The Light Go Out. That song saved my life when I was struggle with depression after miscarrying my twins 6 weeks ago. I interpreted from the POV of a husband begging his wife to not let her Light Go Out. I heard it for the first time and broke down crying and immediately thought of my husband and how he would feel. That song made me rethink everything and saved me that day. By writing that song, Brendon saved my life and I will be forever grateful. I just wish I could tell him

I'm not a "stan", and I don't "ride Brendon", but my gosh, he is just an objectively pleasant, sweet, pure person. I don't understand how anyone could possibly have a vendetta against him. He can make whatever kind of music he wants to, the new album is perfectly fine - people have gotta stop being so toxic. You don't have to like the new sonic direction he's going in, but it doesn't warrant unconstructive criticism. This interview just cements the fact that this guy deserves the world and everyone's acceptance. Hoping the best for Brendon Urie.

yeah. i need an interview. there is so much going on with Viva Las Vengeance and what it symbolizes. i need more explanation of it from him or at least a credible person. i love VLV so much. it is sad the hate that it gets and the hate Brendon gets for simply being an imperfect human that is trying to learn like we all are, i know he has a lot going on and now has a new baby, hopefully when things settle down a bit after the tour especially he will come back and discuss it. i completely understand him wanting to step away from the music industry and the public which has been so toxic, of course he would want to shield his wife and child from these evil people. i will miss him though and i know he loves music so much so hopefully he won't stay away for too long.

Brendon Urie is human just like the rest of us. We've ALL made mistakes and most have changed as we got older. I'm certainly not my past, are you? To the people who choose not to realize the reality of human existence is making mistakes, and just because he's a celebrity doesn't make him any less human than us. He's EARNED respect I mean he's ridiculously!!!! talented, and quite possibly the most talented out of most everyone today. He seems like a really cool guy, and all those accusations have been unfounded. I have major respect for him. I hope this shit doesn't get to him mentally. He's better than that. And we should be too.

no i am certainly not even the same person i was even 2 years ago. people need to move on and stop spreading hate. life is hard enough as it is and it could get even more challenging for us all. Brendon has shown that he is a person that made some mistakes but can turn it around and come out a better person. i admire him for that, i admire him for not giving up on music. he is very talented and clearly can do different genres of music. i love the new album but i tend to think all the albums are great, they are all different and i really love that.

Omg Brendon could totally be a voice actor, thoroughly enjoyed this interview! Warmed my heart how he described the happiness he feels with his fans. 😊💜 We definitely saw that when my partner and I saw him perform Nashville last week!! He couldn't stop smiling! I'm so happy for him and Sarah, God bless you Brendon and your marriage and your lovely wife!!! Much love from TN! 💖

Istg people are a really out here criticizing a man who did shitty thing in the past and has since then apologized. Not too also mention people somehow believed a Twitter troll who took something from a *fanfic* about him and said he did those actions.

I haven't even watched the video yet and reading all of these comments alone is making me sob tears of joy. I'm surrounded by people that don't appreciate Brendon or Panic! for who they are and what they do for their fans, and to see people recognize that from one interview fills my heart with so much joy. Panic! has been my favorite band since their first album came out and I was an awkward nerdy middle schooler and they'll always be my #1 (my Spotify playlist can attest to that lol). Thank you to all of the other fans our there that make me feel less alone in recognizing Brendon's uniqueness and wholesomeness

I could really hear the influences on this album, a lot of Queen and 60’s, I would even say 50’s but I don’t know that much about 50’s music. But it was one song, I think it was Star Spangled Banger, that sounded soooo much like Thin Lizzy

Hearing him say the inspiration for this album was classic music and rock opera makes me understand why I love it so much. Literally all I listen to is classic rock and musicals. And Panic of course 😂. I would LOVE to see VLV as a Broadway show

I have been a BIG fan of this dude since I was 8, 21 now, and he honestly has the same vibe which is craazy. We haven't heard from him in a while, but just hearing him talk makes me nostalgic frfr ! He sounds exactly the same :') Glad he's back and doing well.

As soon as i heard the album i could tell it wasnt recorded like the others. It sounds like they are in the same room playing live and recording it which is exactly what it is. I love that sound too. It sounds like they had fun making it and i dont have enough good things to say about it. Also there is something different about Brendon he seems calmer and just happier. Which is great after all the shit he had to go through.
