I've spoken the loudest when I've stayed in silence. Amen

There’s a huge difference between the silent treatment which is controlling and a form of punishment and the silence of going no contact to save your sanity. 🙏🏼

Oh there is, but it does not take away the fact that if there is silence, in any situation, there is peace, growth, and trust in yourself.

I learned a long time ago, silence is golden, as the song goes. The narcissist I lived with would wait until the morning, to deliver bad news to me. So, silence at these time became a type of protection for me. I stopped talking, except when absolutely necessary. That way I could have mire peace throughout the day. Conversation with a Narcissist are circular, with no solution. So, why bother? Mu business allowed me all the conversation I needed for the day, with people who were looking for solution, not argument. Thsnk you, this video is m I st freeing.

I don't get all that. Well I am an Avoidant personality, gone through several traumatic stuff, but honestly: The Quiet BPD with never explaining, talking, empathetic interactions Hit deeper scars, than the covert narcisst. I prefered bad talk, need for attention and ignoring my words, but lots of talking himself more, than "nothing and silence" Also not healthy, true. But for an avoidant schizotyp like me, ruff "connection" was better, than no talk, no meeting, no contact to humans. Gave not even had the physical powers to engage, when the narc was sitting Fire. Generally I not respond quickly to most People.
