as apparently people are missing the bit about missing bits: this video is not taking what brennan is saying seriously! this was made simply to tie together all of the most relevant clips to the joke that was made in the most recent junior year episode. i think this is extra funny because brennan and siobhan are totally nerding out about old celtic folk songs and musical theater references and how that intersects specifically and perfectly in the setting of "fey of new york". and you can tell they think they're really killing it with these references but, no, ally and zac have actually just disengaged from the game and are only laughing and a botched eddie murphy joke.

There's also an extra layer to the comedy of *Siobhan & Brennan* dueling with English & Irish stereotypes, with Lou forced to play the confused straight man in that exchange.

I especially loved this one because it initially seemed like Brennan hadn't heard the joke and was genuinely asking for it to be repeated. But then he proved that not only did he hear it, he could turn that little exchange into a hilarious bit just for fun.

Yes! I thought for sure Brennan had missed it, but he really tied it into a bit even better,
I have what I like to call "daisy-chain thoughts" where I get from one topic to another through a Seven Degrees of Kevin Bacon thought process and make a reference or bring up a point that, to everyone else, is completely unrelated. I feel like Beardsley has the same kinds of thoughts sometimes 😂

I remember this happening all the time in the Sophomore Year bits that were filmed in lockdown because they weren't even in the same room, so during the battles Brennan truly noticed nothing but his math and game mechanics. 😂 Must have been really weird to narrate this combat and when you look up Lou is suddenly rolling his dice in a filled water cup for - for Brennan - no apparent reason. 😂

What makes this even better in a weird brain way is that Zac is the left-most person on his camera and Ally is the right-most on their camera and both of them are the closest to Brennan, so it has an extra flair of feeling symmetrical, which my nerd brain immediately deposits extra giggle energy into. But also those positions are the closest to Brennan, and he still fully misses it.

Siobhan disguises herself as Eliza Doolittle from the old 60s stage play My Fair Lady. Zac connected the last name Doolittle with "Doctor Doolittle," a 60s movie that was remade in the 90s with Eddie Murphy. Ally connected Eddie Murphy with his role in "The Nutty Professor," where he shouts the line, "I can see my dick!". The Nutty Professor is also a remake of a 60s movie.
