As someone who is 35 now, I grew up loving Power Rangers and I wish they would do anime series or give us more Once and Always Series. I even love writing fanfiction. I would love more live action but I'd take anime whatever we can get honestly. Like you said there can be so much done for Power Rangers. I wrote like 50 word pages in a month. It's so easy to come up with stuff. Granted I went back and watched every season of Rangers like some seasons I've seen 20 times and others maybe 3. The fan base is huge, give us something.

Power Rangers is what got me into tokusatsu in general back in the early 2000s when I discovered Super Sentai. I've written toku fanfics over the years for fun, and now am self-publishing toku-inspired novels on Amazon. I still have a collection of both Sentai and PR mechas from the 80s through the 2000s.

Dino Fury season 2 was the first season to debut exclusively on Netflix. If they stick with live action they should either go back to Super Sentai adaptations or something like an entirely new unique story with no connections to Super Sentai. I feel like a straight up reboot would be a slap in the face to long time fans.

I would like to see them convert comic book arcs and stories into direct to release animated movies. Especially when using the original MMPR characters, in the comics they bring in someone to be the Green Ranger that way Tommy can still be the White Ranger. And I'd love to see the crossover comics with the Rangers turned into animated movies. The MMPR Rangers met the Justice League, and even the Ninja Turtles twice. If a deal could be made between the two owners they could really make something neat. I mean the Batman and Ninja Turtles animated movie crossover was awesome. So could ones involving the Rangers

Fuuto PI (the anime sequel to Kamen Rider W adapted from the manga of the same name) is getting a movie so Power Rangers could down the animated route with adapting certain Boom! Studios comics similar to Batman vs TMNT and [insert comic book storylines here] or if Once & Always was successful, continue reunion specials with adapting the Sentai ones (Kakuranger, Dekaranger (which has two), Go-onger and Gokaiger. The Hurricanger ones probably couldn’t be adapted due to Pua Magasiva not being here anymore, the same goes for the Abaranger one due to JDF’s death) or doing original storylines for them.

That would have been an epic ending and they could have easily made it a reunion squad show by having several past rangers (non-Dr. O of course because Dr. O does his own thing because he's Dr. O.) show up as the team being selected for certain reasons and play on being "star-crossed". From Mighty Morphin- Adam as the new Red, Justin returns as Blue, Aisha returns as yellow, Carlos as Green, Kira Ford stepping into "back off baddies" dangerous pink boots noting that yellow can naturally switch like that (and she definitely has the energy for it, I mean her civilian power is being Black Canary so....yeah don't mess with her), Carter "Where's my Firetruck shaped Battering Ram and water bottle?" Grayson as Orange, Tyler as Gold, Ziggy as Silver, Jayden as a custom Black, Casey as White and Gia (the only competent Mega Forget It ranger) as purple.

Not really. It's industry standard for studios to sell tv show costumes/props. They were sitting in a storage locker rotting away anyways. It's best to give the opportunity to fans to buy them rather than throw away. If power rangers ever makes a come back to live action tv. They'd remake the costumes/props anyways. Toei has the real original stuff in the Super Sentai Museum. Saban got the secondary stunt stuff that Toei had multiples of.

I like and agree with the ideas of some animated series or movies. It would be a fun way to have alternate endings to seasons, like adapting the Boom Studios comics, or completely original stories. I also think your idea of narrating the Boom Studios comics would be great. They did it for Buffy, so they can definitely do that for Power Rangers. Your idea of having the original actors reprise their roles for animated and narration is a good idea as welll.

Blake Foster even once mentioned in an interview he'd like to do one like that....he and the interviewer called it "Blue Crew" Also Justin could even crack a joke that the blue rangers had ladies before the red rangers did only for Lauren on Samurai to get annoyed and fail to come up with a comeback not about Justin being a jr. ranger...to which Justin just remarks "jelly much?" PR really messed up by segmenting the franchise with new casts every season. The only thing that can save the franchise now is if they do what Marvel and DC did in the 90s, create animated movies/shows to grow a new younger audience and then making those into live action movies 10 years down the line. They even have the perfect story to adapt with the Boom! Studios comics, just animate those stories.

I love all these ideas. When I originally thought of a major Power Rangers video game, I originally thought of a MMO, and how hard but doable it could be. But as soon as I heard you say Kingdom Hearts style, I thought, "Yup, that is perfect." You talked about, if you came back, wanting to come back as a mentor. And I have thought heavily about, "If the show were in my hands, what would I do with it moving forward?" And that is one concept I had explored. Bringing back past rangers as mentors, similar to a few one off episodes, like Adam mentoring Carlos in Space, Casey coming in for an episode in Megaforce to mentor a couple rangers, and Tommy's role in Dino Thunder. I penned a concept for two collabrative Ranger shows that would act not only as a continuation, but as a lead-in to SPD, and a redemption shows for ranger teams that weren't as accepted by the fanbase as others. These shows would also fill in holes that the series have left open through the years. And ressurect the much beloved scrapped concept of Power Rangers: Hexagon, a Power Rangers Civil War, if you will. The first of the two shows would follow Space Patrol Alpha, mentored by Adam and Aisha as set up by Once and Always. But setting it up as a subset of Grid Battleforce, with the new team led by Beast Morphers Red, Devon. He recruits other recent rangers (running in the same timeframe as Dino Fury) from the Neo-Saban Era (but not Megaforce, and that will be explained in the other series). And SPA would be looking for abandoned ranger tech to keep it out of enemy hands (specifically, I would have this as the canon reason for SPD's Troobian Empire invading). Adam would reach out to the Operation Overdrive team for mentorship in hunting down artifacts. As OO is one of those seasons that didn't get as much love. So, for the second series, which ties into the first, I would try to bring back the Megaforce team. Say the ranger keys got scattered after the legendary battle, and the Troobian empire, collecting abandoned and lost ranger tech, also was collecting the keys. The SPA try to get the keys as well. But the Megaforce rangers believe the keys rightly belong to them, and not GB and the SPA. I had set it up where they lost connection to the original Megaforce powers, and only had powers through the Super Megaforce keys. And this second series would follow the Megaforce team as a group of renegade rangers, butting heads with the SPA over the keys, and occasionally teaming up to face their common enemy, the Troobians. I also thought it would be interesting if they started making some morally gray decisions, like teaming up with past villains that could further their collection of the keys. The SPA would bring back old ranger tech, including Zords that were never destroyed, yet replaced. Like the original Dragon Zord and Titanus. We finally clear up 30 year plot holes. While Renegades visits characters like Scorpina, who in my plan would reveal she was part of the same race as Scorpius and Trekena from Lost Galaxy, and that's how she survived the Z-Wave, she was on their homeworld at the time. Put one episode of each show up on different days of the week, like SPA on Mondays, and Renegades on Thursdays. In the off season of those shows, have a sequel series to Once and Always where Minh leads a new Mighty Morphin' team mentored by Billy and Zack primarily, with other rangers popping in as episodic mentors from time to time. Eventually bringing JJ in to continue his parents' legacy, and taking on his father's Master Morpher. And these are just a few of the ideas I had for moving forward with post-sentai footage rangers, without a reboot. But, alas, my finger isn't on that particular pulse.

As a 34 year old i like how back in 1994 the characters were jolly but had some really gloomy moments and every year the characters were changing from MMPR-Turbo you saw the growth. By 1998 Power Rangers in Space they completely transformed the show into a more serious tone and it fit the narrative of the story Andro was looking for his sister Karone. TJ, Ashley, Cassie, Carlos wasn't the same kids from Turbo.

Not to be that Guy, but Hasbro auctioned off all the Live action suits and props for every season. Which sucks, I don't see the show coming back. Unless it's Animated. You are correct that they want to keep pushing MMPR because Jason and company are the most popular Team that sell. Hasbro likes to make money, which is part of the reason MMPR keeps getting milked. Look at the new PR Game coming out this Year it features the OGs again. They do have powerful Brand appeal. Still the other seasons continued the Lore and its Shame hasbro can't see that.

It's always the feeling that money is a big problem in my FURY!🦁 Power Rangers was originally made in Japan just like Anime as well! And all of that has to do with getting a License included. Most of the power rangers series were filmed from Japan and then dubbed the voices in English. If people want something that was made from a different country and turned it into an America accent, then those people from that country wouldn't let happened unless you give them money! And that's the same problem when people like me want Anime to be in English Dubbed! People need bring more of that amazing stuff to America because it help a lot of lives and bring joy!

I totally agree with you with animated and live action. If money was no object, I would want to do the animated version and they could do mash ups with other seasons. I believe they should do that for kids and live action for adults. Make it a bit dark of how King-Ohger did. That would be awesome if we get a new contract with Toei Company and we could continue with doing that.

That Idea of animation is great, as the effects would feel much more real and great in that. I thought of a different way, though. I felt that they should take time and use better effects and CGI, but that would take a lot of time in production and budget, but the result would be very fruitful. Hoping that at least they can go for animated version that would make the cut.

Amen to your ideas! 1st limitation. Live action just can't reuse any old actors that have passed away. 2nd limitation. Animated can't use voices of old actors that have passed away.

I would love to extend the Power Rangers universe with books! They could also have accompanying audio books! I've listen to some that have a full cast of voices with background music and sound effects!
