All first : THANKS TO LINDA DONAHUE ! After her comments about one Tompall Glaser song (with nice dobro part) I visit her youtube page and find also the Brent Mason's version of "Alabama Jubilee" I played on trombone, tuba and lead tenor banjo from 1959 to 1975. I can't play "chicken pickin' style" on my guitars. I work as (abd) professional lead guitarist (all styles) from 1960 and still. As "pupil" of Grady Martin (and Jerry Kennedy, Harold Braldey, Pete Wade, Chet Atkins, Les Paul...) "my" version od "Alabama Jubilee" is inspired by the delvecchio guitar solo by Grady on the recording "Doc Watson in Nashville". I copy not the Grady's solo but (I think so) I'm inspired by the trumpet part of Danny Alguire, the trombone part by Ward Kimball and the banjo (four string but tuned D G B E) by Harper Goof(Firehouse Five + Two : great California Jazz Band from the Walt Disney Studios).
