Came across this podcast because I follow Brent and Shinedown. Great episode! I love how towards the end Brent said as an artist you have to be responsible for the lyrics you put out because you can save someone’s life. Theres a flip side to that too, negative lyrics can steer people especially the younger generation down the wrong path. You gained a new follower today and Brent, great show at musikfest and Atlantic City, hope to see you guys again soon. More recovery talk helps a lot of people too!

Thank you!!!!!! Greatly appreciated information from a 2 1/2 time suicide survivor. (The 1/2 I checked myself in). When you actually relate to what people are thinking, and let them know it's human to have those feelings is truly the best form of empathy! Thank you ❤️

Nirvana did the same for me 💜 along with many others but Nirvana was definitely a game changer and when I was having a bad day, Nirvana brought me back.

What another amazing episode! I will add this one as a top favorite. Ryan, I agree with Brent that you are a selfless person. So humbling and genuine. Ryan keep doing you, you’re great in your new element. Duck this platform I bet is your best true improve work. This is your new stage. Even though we have never meet, you’re awesome on all your plate forms. Brent, thank you for being an advocate with Suicide prevention. Thank you guys!
