Came across this podcast because I follow Brent and Shinedown. Great episode! I love how towards the end Brent said as an artist you have to be responsible for the lyrics you put out because you can save someone’s life. Theres a flip side to that too, negative lyrics can steer people especially the younger generation down the wrong path. You gained a new follower today and Brent, great show at musikfest and Atlantic City, hope to see you guys again soon. More recovery talk helps a lot of people too!

This interview was so eye-opening! I love the fact that Brent is so real and down to earth! I love the fact that he owns his issues with addiction! Makes me love him and admire him even more. All the best! This was the best damn podcast I've heard in a while.

Thank you!!!!!! Greatly appreciated information from a 2 1/2 time suicide survivor. (The 1/2 I checked myself in). When you actually relate to what people are thinking, and let them know it's human to have those feelings is truly the best form of empathy! Thank you ❤️
