Guys this is a journey that will take time to find your niche. I totally get it and understand about podcasts, and social media, it different, weird and uncomfortable especially when we did not grow up with every minute of the day being public. I agree that i feel 75%percent of the show is great. I have had moments where it was hard to pay attention, but that is me personally and professionally. Ryan, work in MH we have to be careful about our private life. Keeping that boundaries with clients is hard and even more when you’re in the public eye. Ryan, I’m glad you have people to go to as well. Your girlfriend is such a sweet soul, your parents are great. I’m so sorry about the medical issues with them. Please don’t think you owe anyone explanations. I see the show as you’re the therapist and Duck asks the public and private questions. I hope both of you and your families have a wonderful holiday and better 2025❤. Side note: Ryan, my daughter still talk about the time your parents spent with her when we met😂

First of all, I would like to wish you both a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Secondly, I would like to thank you for the incredible and excellent work that both you, Ryan, and Duck have done on The Harder to Breathe Podcast in this first season. We have had several spectacular guests throughout the episodes of this season, and next year, we will have more spectacular guests for this second season. We have also had several funny moments, several interesting stories, very emotional stories and very good episodes, such as the episode with Sara Bareilles (which is my favorite episode) and the episode with Ryan's father. I feel that 2024 was a pretty average year because a lot of good things happened in my life because I met new people, made new friends, had a picnic with some friends and a barbecue, etc. But a lot of bad things also happened and one of those moments will be the first time I talk about it in the comments because it happened in June or July, which was the death of my uncle in a saturday morning and it took me but my entire family down on this day. I remember the atmosphere in the house being very busy, my mother felt sick during the funeral, that was a day that I will never ever forget. Thank you again, Ryan and Duck, for the excellent work you did in this first season, and now we can wait for the second season in January. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from Brazil

@@gameszerax5636 Thank you so much for your support of the show. We really appreciate it so much, and I’m so glad you’ve enjoyed all of those moments! And I’m so sorry for the loss of your uncle. Thank you for sharing here vulnerably, as we encourage with our show. I hope that you find some peace this holiday season, and I hope that we can continue to provide a relatable show for you in the new year!

Hey guys, just wanted to leave a comment to wrap up the season, as I've been consistently listening to you. I really understand your complaints, as they´re pretty familiar to what I feel. Anyway, I am a psychology student at 30 and was heavily influenced by Ryan's book to go back to school and get another degree. So thank you for that, although the grind of doing that while working a full time job gets to me as well haha. I also miss having a creative outlet. I really enjoy it when you let your personalities show and talk about personal stuff (and very relatable feelings). Honestly, it always amazes me how cordial Ryan is to everyone even when he disagrees, how ethically he talks about m5 when certainly there were difficult feelings there, apart from being funny, Duck has really good insight even though he's not a therapist and just a sweet guy overall. I really enjoy listening to the podcast and what you're going through, the jokes between you guys, more technical knowledge about psychology and also the entertainment side of it with different guests. It is also cool to think that when I was a huge maroon 5 fan as a teenager I'd never think my interests would grow in that direction, yet here we are, reunited in some (and different) way. So, thank you for helping me getting through my work day, wish you all the best and can't wait for season 2.

OMG, Allie’s story is much like my own. I don’t have ADHD that I’m aware of but I do have high disabilitating anxiety. I had a hard time in HS and was told not to worry about college and get ready to run the family restaurant. I went to college on a double athletic scholarship. Now I know where my anxiety came from, it pushed me harder to not only go to college but complete it. Not only did I go to college for psychology and philosophy but I am now one semester away from my third masters degree. So I finally told those people to f*** off. I wish somebody knew what my anxiety was, I wish I did not have to struggle in college, but now I appreciate that younger self. So now struggling is not hard for me, it motivates me and I now understand my journey. Another amazing episode guys! I truly look forward to this every Tuesday❤

This episode was absolutely amazing. This is hands down the best. Learning to enjoy your realistic journey versus the Disney journey is something everybody should learn. Philosophy and psychology have always drawn my attention and I think is why I went into psychology, law enforcement, military and being a clinician. I do believe people will come to you when you show your true self versus telling people who you know. We have all made those mistakes, that’s how we learn as well. Be true to you and others will see and feel it. Those other people will find their way to you when it’s time. During lockdown I was a clinician who was working 15hour days. I was at first so happy to finally be utilized, but the double edge sword was that I was over utilized. When the pandemic was lifted I had to take a year off because I was there hearing everyone’s stories and help them, yet I was alone. Duck, the way you felt about watching the IG post during the pandemic is how I feel about watching this show every week. Wow, so amazing! The three of you are such heartwarming humans❤

Another amazing and sensational episode this week on The Harder to Breathe Podcast, I met Ato through the Marvel movie called Dark Phoenix from 2019 (it's not one of the X-Men movies that I like) but he was a really cool guest on this episode and he's really nice too. One thing I wanted to share is about an uncle of mine who drank too much. He was a person who drank a lot, and I ended up finding out on Sunday that he stopped drinking 6 months ago, and now he is doing better with life itself. He is now in a much better sentence.

What an amazing episode not just for women but you guys. As a young girl who had to learn this on her own, afraid to talk, ask question this is awesome. I love how this generation is more open to these physical and sexual conversations. These conversations were easy with my boys, but having a young girl who is close to the puberty biological changes, this is great! As a woman who went through menopause a few years ago and had questions that nobody could give me answers too, wow!think it’s wonderful that you guys came out of your comfort zone to learn, understand and educating yourselves to help understand and help your partner! Love how all three of brought the educational aspect but the fun and humor too! Another amazing interview guy, you nailed it🎉🎉

Great episode, I really missed Duck! Like any type of marriage, whether music group, sports team, personal, parental or professional we tend to lose a part of our identity when the relationship ends or is separated. The question is, do I look at what I’ve learned and how I grew or do I become or stay miserable with what I lost. Only each individual can answer that for themselves. We need to grieve as much or little as needed. It’s when we don’t know how to look at it honestly that we look to escape in other measures. Great episode guys! I respect your career as musicians, therapist, podcaster’s along with your vulnerability to all of us! I can say both of you have had a huge impact on my life over the years, thank you!

The hard part is finding the people with principles, good morals and gratitude. So many people have lost this personally and once lost it does not get shared. Winning the game is something that needs to be taught in schools at an early age. Those who struggle at first are the ones who appreciate it vs. those riding family members coat tails. Self talk is very important to the mental, physical and spiritual self. We need to learn and embrace self talk vs. finding that in others. Lear to be a plus and a must!

First, I have read the book 5 times. I have related and learned something new each time. It has an amazing tone, really how many books have you read more than once let alone 5xs. No matter you anxiety, stress, depression, etc levels, your sense of immediate fixes or waiting is still wanted or needed. I never turned to substances, I turned to coffee and work. I avoided other things, which in turn caused damage in other ways. I knew I needed to find a balance e, I knew what I needed but financials and time were not an option. I have the time now but financial is still an obstacle. The more I try to find it the further back I’m pushed. Yet, waiting makes me get in my head…ugh Life is a battle or a see-saw… I try to be open and honest as possible but making sure I know my audience. Great episode guys!!

Another great episode and so awesome to hear that MH is spreading through the music industry! My cousin was in one of the biggest band the 70’s and dies from substance abuse and I’m sure MH played a role. My family this day still doesn’t talk about it. I wish he had this back then. The band did continue and still plays today. I love how my generation is learning that the “Suck it up” method in one way has hurt us, but in another way has helped us build strength. This was another amazing episodes. I have been in this field for 30 years. When I started I did specialize in traditional psychology and yet did not completely agree with the traditional 12 steps of AA as I saw it was not working for some. When I went into law enforcement and the military and then too realized that traditional psychology did not work for many including myself. I began to explore more holistic ways of healing. Still my expertise was traditional, yet I have evolved. I teach and coach civilians, military and first responders in breath works, meditation, sound/music and art. But I also tailor it to individual needs and sometimes it might be a mixture. We are all individuals evolving everyday day. That might mean our treatment needs change as well. Yes, I have a specialty but I can still meet the needs of the many including myself.
