@@petermalkovic8635 I don't know much about David Rappaport and only learned about him very recently as I've been rewatching some Star Trek. It doesn't seem Brent was well acquainted with David the way he's telling the story, it seems they met on set. If that's the case he only would have know him the 2 days they worked together. Yea it's a shame he's making mistakes but this occurred almost 30 years before this interview and he's attempting to recollect on a colleague he only knew for 2 days. It was a failed suicide attempt over that weekend by David causing the recasting of Fajo. David would then die by suicide a few days later. Unfortunate mistakes yes they certainly are, but I don't think Brent is being malicious or intentionally getting his facts wrong.

Yeah, Brent named David as Michael Rappaport. But to me, what he got right was two points: Saul Rubinek is a great actor, and Warehouse 13 was a great show that was taken off the air too soon. Also, David Rappaport didn't kill himself at that time, it was an attempted suicide. He soon succeeded on May 2, 1990. I can forgive Brent for not knowing the details, as he only worked with David for two days almost 30 years ago.

Unless there is a big touch stone the likelihood is you don't remember that specific day at all. The further back you go, the more true that becomes true, until you hit childhood, where memories are often the strongest. Brent Spiner worked with a guest actor for two days back 30 some odd years ago. He worked with a lot of guest actors for a couple days for seven seasons of TV. I firmly believe that he did not in fact shoot, because it would have been ignoring his programming for rage, since he could keep the guy in check, AND he would have lied to his friend and commanding officer, since he said "maybe something occurred during transport".
