Fantastic. The Flinders Ranges really is a special place. I have visited many times over the years and haven't tired of it. It's harsh country but incredibly beautiful and somehow puts our/my existence in perspective. My chosen mode of transport is a mountain bike these days and have fond memories of travelling through Alpana on what appeared to be a very similar route to yours, stopping at that spring and continuing on to Parachilna Gorge. From there onto the Glass Gorge Road and the Moolooloo PAR doing a sneaky camp near Artomore ruins that night. Fantastic memories. Thank you for the beautiful video. You've captured it well.

What an exceptional Brent Pearson Production. It is so enjoyable to sit back and enjoy your highest of quality skills as a Story teller and a Film Producer. We out here in Tubeland are very lucky that you share your passions. Big thanks once again. There were some great moments here. I think Coco got very lucky on his little ride close to the fence. That moment demonstrated the fine line of safety while riding these glorious machines. You really showed us the beauty that the Flinders has to offer, the colours we captured so cinematically. Thanks again Brent, looking forward to the next one already.

I first went to Nuccaleena in about 1975. It wasn’t accessible to the public back then, but we had connections. It was my first time riding a proper motorbike, which was an xr75. I learned to ride it the day before, and next minute I’m riding up creek beds following / leading a group in their 6wd army truck. It was a steep learning curve, but I didn’t mind. I’m pretty sure mum and dad still have some souvenirs from that trip. I’ve still got the memories 😎

Hi Callum Once you set the 701 up properly, it's great. upgraded seat, fairing, bar risers. I've done several long stretches of 800-900k and it's absolutely fine. @@brentbat Well, you see, in the video, I don't see anything that catches my attention. The landscapes are like those in any other country, but nothing surprising like Norway, Canada, Spain, Argentina, or Turkey. These are places that, in addition to having beautiful landscapes, have significant cultural and historical backgrounds that invite exploration. For example, South America has incredible mountain ranges, exotic landscapes, glaciers, lakes, and a variety of experiences that I don't see in Australia. I understand that you might have some personal appreciation for that country, but the reality is that it has rather boring routes

@marczlong9382
@marczlong9382 17 күн бұрын
@@brentbat No, I haven't been there. It's obvious that every place 'improves' when you see it in person. For example, when I did Route 40 in Argentina, I was absolutely amazed, but even just by watching videos, you could tell the place was incredible. The same thing happened to me in Norway and Switzerland. Your videos don't show anything, they don't invite you to travel. Surely, the place is more beautiful than what you're able to convey. But compared to other countries, I don't see anything that grabs my attention. I haven't been to the Moon either, but it seems to be an inhospitable place
@brentbat
@brentbat 17 күн бұрын
@@marczlong9382 Thanks for your reply. By the countries you quoted, clearly you enjoy the Mountains/Alps. I've travelled in Argentina, Switzerland and Norway, and if it's mountainous scenery you love, Australia definitely can not compare. There is something special about the Australian outback.... there is lots of "nothingness", but that is part of what makes it special. I enjoy riding in Mountains, but I also love deserts, Bushland and other diverse landscapes. But if Mountains are your thing... then I agree with you 100%. By comparison to the countries you listed, we have nothing that comes close. BP
