There are real world problems created by the birth of unwanted children that no policy proposal put forward by conservative politicians address. I think liberal states can most effectively move this wedge issue forward by refusing to perform abortions on any citizen residing in a state that bans it. I guarantee you, if they're forced to deal with the real world consequences of their bans, within 5-10 years those states will reverse them.

The argument is that a fetus is a "living being" but not a "living person" until a certain point. That's why it's a termination and not murder. Let that sink in.
