Lee was defiantly the vanguard of this world cup win, McGrath was in my opinion, was nothing more than a hand maiden throughout his career, to the likes of Warne and lee!!

@@sacredclown4179 McGrath suffocated runs on one end, so the batsman would be forced to play more shots to pick the run rate up against Lee and so Lee would get alot of wickets.

He bowled marvan attapatu in semi final 2003 with the delivery of 160.1 .... In 2005 against newzeland in test match he bowled 160 and 161 ... Again on same tour in one day match he bowled 160 and 161.1 .... He is the only bowler who bowled 160 and above 9 times ... Shoaib bowled only once which is world record 161.3 whereas Shaun Tait bowled three time against Pakistan 160.7 against England 161.1 and 160.4 ... Apart from Jeff Thompson delivered a bowl on 160.4

@@arslaanpasha3334 I agree, however, Lee did the same for around 6-7 years as compared to Shoaib's 2-3 years. Shoaib's injuries didn't help him much.

This was where Brett Lee really came of age as an international cricketer. Always had potential and pace, but like many young fast bowlers, he was a bit erratic. In this World Cup, he was lethal. He went on to be a very consistent bowler for Australia in all forms of cricket, and had an excellent career.

5:43 OUCH ! Could feel that broken bone thru the screen. That hat trick ball at 6:35 was a missile. Atapattu nowhere near it at 7:18. Just too quick at 160.1
