Hey Brett, thanks for your videos. I grew up in Virginia Beach and we had a cottage in the 'country' which was what we called going to North Carolina and our cottage back in the 70's-80's. I grew up surfing all over the outer banks and Hatteras, S-Turns when it was 'really' S-Turns ( you know what I mean!?), Boilers when it was good, Buxton turnout etc... Moved to California in 91', people still thought there was no waves on the east coast even then. Your videos remind me of how special and lucky we were as kids to have endless epic and un-crowded surf! It wasn't just a dream or something I was fabricating in my mind! Thanks again man for your hard work and the walks down memory lane!

Man, I grew up in OBX! Surfed and skated all the time. I remember some of the best waves and best times of my life there. Then I moved to Maryland for a girl, who I'm not even with anymore 💩. I miss it so bad there and vow that one day I will move back! Kids, if you are thinking about giving up your dream for a chick, please don't! The truth is you probably won't even be with her in 10 years. I'm not trying to be a downer but it's the truth! Just follow God, stay the heck away from drugs and follow your dreams and then if you find a chick who's willing to support all that, then so be it. But don't let a peace of tail ever come between you and those things that I just mentioned my friends! It's just not worth it in the end. That's my free advice for you young guys and every dude out there.

I just got my first glass board this past summer, and because my college classes are online I've been able to surf during the fall for the first time ever and its been so awesome. Hello from Delaware :O Also a question if anyone knows, my board has fcs2 fins and I already have had to purchase a new set fins because my fins fell out when I bailed on a wave (at this point I didn't have screws holding my fins in). Is it bad to have screws hold fcs2 fins in? I haven't lost my fins since I put the screws in but I feel like I'm putting my fin boxes in danger. Also fyi I only have the front screw in and its a thruster set up. Let me know, thanks!
