Hey I know I’ve asked this before but after listening to the media (mike Greenberg, nick wright and others) trash Gardner Minshew this week and claim it’s obvious that the jags need to draft Trevor Lawrence next year will you do a tape break down of him after draft season or let me know what you think of him as a quarterback?
@otaviomio28874 жыл бұрын
Just heard your podcast. Despite the overall quality, I, as a Panthers fan, strongly disagree with your friend's (his name eludes me) opinion that the Panthers are going for an all in. Yes, we got Bridgewater and Anderson and we'll have a loaded offense, especially if Thomas breaks out, but our offensive line is so atrocious - and just got worse with the Turner/Okung trade - that I'll be surprised if Bridgewater stays healthy. Besides, our defense got entirely disassembled in the FA and it was already bad, especially against the rush. Rhule, Brady and their men totally have my trust and I think that, yes, they're going for Lawrence or Fields. Rhule's work always begins with an awful year to evolve from that. He likes to wreck and rebuild. I think the plan is to play with Bridgewater in Year 1 to test the system with a reliable and familiar QB so they know exactly what they want to build for Lawrence or Fields while the defense gets shredded and a lot of points are taken, even if we also score a lot of them. The team then goes something like 2-14 or 4-12 to secure a top-3 or at least a top-5 position in the draft and get one of the top QBs. Maybe there is even a third option, just like Burrow came out of nowhere this year. As a transition year, I think they'll be kind of aggressive in FA. And then, Bridgewater will teach whichever QB the system and will be traded before his third contract year. At least, that's what I hope that will happen. Bridgewater is a good player, but I think Tepper wants his Mahomes, he wants a gay who will win a Super Bowl. And Bridgewater is not that guy.

As a Patriots fan I have seeen the value of working the field and moving the ball, getting 1st down and getting close enough to strike, and Patriots running backs have never lead the league in yardage, but were absolutely invaluable in play action because they could break off a chunk and hurt the defense. Watching that duel in November between him and Najee Harris was something legendary. Tua vs Burrow, Helaire vs Harris, and all those WRs

The amount of talent on those two squads is ridiculous

I'm a Wisconsin fan, scouted all these rbs. CEH is my favorite just needs an opportunity

After week one, pretty much everything aged well except for your draft position take. Well done.

My favorite RB in this years draft, reminds me of my favorite in last year's draft, Devon Singletary. Footwork and vision are so good on CEH . He plays low (both naturally and in play style) and has some good power behind his pads.

Man, I feel the same way. He feels like a 1st or high second round back but, I couldn't tell you why until now.

Chief agreed with my evaul. I need to be an NFL scout.

According to the Chiefs. Patrick Mahomes agrees. Brett Veach called Mahomes the day of the draft and asked for one name - it was Clyde.

I know as a Clyde fan you are so happy to be wrong about his draft placement. Great video can't wait until you do a video on Clyde as a pro.

He has pretty good game speed for his 40 time. He also has hellish power for his size. Smart to.
@bolbyballinger4 жыл бұрын
Very few plays actually go for 40 yards so a lack of top end doesn't matter all that much. More important is the acceleration which he has plenty of.
@rayontita19124 жыл бұрын
@@bolbyballinger True. That and lateral agility. He'll need those much more than he'll ever need pure straight line speed. Those will actually get him yards and first downs.
@macrofocus19884 жыл бұрын
lateral agility and acceleration are 10x more relevant than a 40-yard dash which will happen only a handful of times even for elite backs

still cant fathom how in the world we were able to draft this gem. andy's playbook just got another chapter of slick moves.

Damn I'm still in my feelings about how great LSU's offense was this last year. Such great memories.

LSU fan here. He was my favorite this past year, especially how handedly he ran through Bamas defences. I was super stoked to see him go in the first round.
