​@@BrettVaughnB100 Unlike you I grew up in the poorest county in our country. Away back in the mountains so far that they'd forget to put it on the maps half the time. At 13 years old, I was fully developed and there was not an ounce of Fat nowhere to be found upon my body. I could run for miles and drink less water doing so than most. One day at age 14 I was challenged to a foot race by a young man from Ohio, the race was about a quarter of a mile. He bet me for a Case of Beer that he should beat me. When I crossed the finish line, he was about 80 yards behind me. I saw him last year and he is in worse shape than I are. At 69 I can still walk the miles, but running is now just a memory.😊 Great video Brett Thank you for your time and inspiration.

Hi Brett, Dave from down under, listening to you talk about old friends reminds me to call my old mate as we grew up together and had some great times. He plays the guitar and sings and I played a 120 base piano accordion back in the day. We were always up for a party and a good time. I really enjoy your stories, you remind me of an old man I knew as a teenager his name was Herman, he had four mules and a wagon and even up until the mid 80s when he passed he used to drive that thing all over town. I remember probably in 79 I was barely a teen and he drive that thing 70 miles to Las Vegas Nevada from my little town of Pahrump and back it would take him all week. I sure miss him. at the end of that Melody that was being played while you’re packing the tent at the very end I wanted to yell (Tequila).

Hi. Like the colours under that impressive blue sky. That rather pale green I find very beautiful.By the way, same with me: Remembering my early years. Still have my best friend from 53years ago. We were almost all the time outdoors and living like brothers for around 19 years. We did´nt have to talk much-each of us knew by one or two words exactly what the other one was thinking. Was very irritating for others 🙂We have reunited 3 years ago, undertaking excursions since then and filming. So I hope you will meet your friend soon! I was laughing at Fat Lori and your dogs holding down the tent as you tried to fold it up. They were making sure it wouldn't blow away 😂. Beautiful country up there. Last time I slept out where i slept out in the forest so many times as a kid, I thought my dog would come lie down too. Nope. He "patrolled" around all night long. He never barked, but he never settled down, either. Black bears do come around, etc. Those dogs will take care of you!

I enjoy watching stuff like what you do Brett but I really wish all this techy stuff had never come along . Very few kids now days actually get out and experience life but they think they know all about it from watching someone else do it. The things I did as a kid, most kids wouldn't even believe it . Sometimes I have a hard time understanding how I lived through it ! I'd love to share a campfire and share some of those stupid things we did as kids ! I got some good uns ! LOL ! I'm near Yuma Arizona but in California the Imperial Valley not sure if you're familiar with this area but the wind has just been howling here it let up a little bit today but it's supposed to start up again right out of the north northwest which is good it keeps our temperature down I'm getting ready to head up to start work on a ranch in Jacumba Ca and I know the wind blows like crazy up there and cold

We used to steal the car late at night...i needed a co-conspirator because they had to push the car down the driveway because it cranked loud...( stick shift international) lol and play with the cb ...lol never got caught but my dad wondered about the extra miles. By the way i couldn't push the car because my brothers couldn't reach the clutch haha!
